Why would Duce bail on us? A starting job guaranteed with a (potential) path to the NFL clearly ahead of him following our other DBs. Yet he did.

Yes but those 7 step QB drop backs with no offensive line and no additional blockers in was always entertaining to watch.

I think the difference is Deuce proved himself as a D1 CB and earned his money.
But you’re right if Sellers gets big NIL offered he may bail too but a QB needs to have a trusting relationship with his QB coach and OC he Sellers won’t have that with a new NIL offer school
What is Beck's QB Development record ? Has he sent some of his students to the NFL or Power 5?

He's sent 3 Qbs that have, at a minimum, camped with NFL teams: Taysom Hill, Kurt Benkert, and Bryce Perkins.

Brennan Armstrong will certainly get a look in the NFL too after his college career ends.
This is his 10th season coaching QBs at the FBS level. 5 QBs in 10 years is pretty stellar.
Meanwhile, that guy South Carolina hired had made every QB he has ever coached worse.

I'm surprised I mean I thought our depth at quarterback at this moment, depending on whether sellars actually comes in which I think he will, Our depth there where it needs to be and before he got injured, Lamson I think look competent last spring before he hot hurt, he was looking real good
