He can, but the defense isn’t having to worry about6/15 for 77 amd he missed a lot of open guys. It’s just not gonna cut it in conference. Flood the box to stop Tucker you win going away.
He’s Rex except he had a running game
TD Can hand it to Tucker 31 times just the same
Said it in the post above - it feels a lot like 2001 team. ACC is bad and sets up nicely to win some games with this model.
Yes but several passes were behind the line of scrimmage. He went 6/15 and 75 yards. Thats not going to cut it against ACC
Yeah, don’t think so. He’s been a good runner this year and prob hits on that deep ball in addition to Tucker having a big night. We lose this game by double digits with Tommy in

I think having this discussion is a bit silly too. The staff thought Shrader gave them something and he produced enough for the win.
I don’t agree. Shrader needs to be better but it’s not even close to the same.

Except we don't call those plays with TD that we did with GS.6/15 for 77 and he missed a lot of open guys. It’s just not gonna cut it in conference. Flood the box to stop Tucker you win going away.

It doesn't make sense at all. I know there are intangibles missing but even still he should be able to win games. The offense just stalls. I don't know.Theoretically TD’s ability to touch the whole field with his arm should be fire with this run game, yet we havent’ seen a TD offense look like this against P5 level teams in 2 years.
TD will not start another game for SUTommy will have a say when all is said and done. BUT - I thought Shrader made some plays and didn’t lose us the game. That’s something to build on.
We will need our WRs to win the 1 on 1 battles now. Nobody going to be playing zone against us now. They are going to stack the box and play man defense. Can our WRs win those battles and present GS with easy throws???
Also passing game needs to get a little creative bring back those short option routes that erv philips made famous.
I disagree. The play calling is atrocious.I disagree. I think there is a chance that we have 4 flawed QB's. But time will tell.
you think our qb's aren't flawed?I disagree. The play calling is atrocious.
Good thing we didn’t give him the entire Albany game then.Another point to ponder is that Shrader started game four, HCDB claims it takes 1.5 seasons (18 games) to be ready to run the offense. If Shrader improves weekly as he should, he will be a good QB.
Right, the staff knows that GS is better for their system then TD. Finally!!Yeah, don’t think so. He’s been a good runner this year and prob hits on that deep ball in addition to Tucker having a big night.

No because some of those times Schrader made the difference. On the 1st TD< they were all running towards Tucker and Schrader ran it. TD can't do that. He can't fool them. That is part of what gives Tucker the openings6/15 for 77 and he missed a lot of open guys. It’s just not gonna cut it in conference. Flood the box to stop Tucker you win going away.
He’s Rex except he has a running game

By not being able to pass.He isn’t perfect but he gives you a chance.
I don’t think you read my second paragraph? LolIf coaches thought Tommy gave us a better chance to win he would have played.
We’ve seen enough of Tommy’s decision making as starter to know what he does when things get tight.
