...in terms of keeping the bowl dream alive. Hate to be melodramatic, but if we couldn't get this one at home, it is hard to believe that we'd win three out of the last four.

So now, at 4-4, bowl contention is still realistic. Maryland had a bunch of early season success, but has struggled of late. Not suggesting that we WILL win on the road, but it is a possibility. 50-50 type game, especially if we can sustain the offensive production of the 2nd half.

FSU is a lost cause. Faghitabouddit.

But then we close with two more 50-50 games. Pitt at home is another must-win. BC is playing well now. It will be tough.

But we have to find a way to claw out two more victories from those three games remaining on the schedule that are still winnable.

Let's Go Orange!!!

It's amazing how lackluster our offense has been that we are excited about 2 drives in the second half (and a post INT razzle dazzle TD), and are calling it offensive success.

W's bro...W's...

Let's hope for 6-5 going into BC game That way that game is more icing on the cake for bowl city and a better seed game.

And so you got a problem cuz we won? Gotta problem with that?

we only scored on 2 drives but there were 2 or 3 other good drives

The offense was much better in the second half.

I agree with Tomcat - McDonald must simplify - trying to do too much and in the process confusing the players.

we had 6 drives of 7 plays or more, wake had 3. we had 3 drives of 40+ yds, wake had Zero.. of course the trick play would have worked for more than 25

the longest drive in the 2nd half for wake was 23 yds.. we didnt even do that against wagner.

I believe it was 5 drives of 7 plays or more. Maybe it's just me but 8-9 play drives for 20 something yards don't impress me. Neither do 11 punts.

Our 3 "drives" of 40+ yards (is 40 a standard?) included the one that was 41 yards with a 43 yard pass to West. Those other plays in that drive resulted in -2 yards due to penalties.

The 2nd half opening drive and the one that resulted in fake FG were our only 2 drives where we showed something offensively. And even the fake FG was mostly PTG's 60+ yard run.

Out offense was bad. Mostly because the play calling was curious. How many bubble screens can you call that were resulting in 2-3 yard gains?

Another question is how do we twice coming out of timeouts have 12 players on the field?
