Today was it for me. Syracuse basketball needs to move on.

I have closely followed just about every single game since 1971! Today's Pitt. game is the first that I did not pay any heed to. I assumed the loss.

We lost our gravitas and it will take decades to recover. We are Indiana when Knight imploded, Georgetown when Big John lost his touch, UCLA after Wooden.

I am not bitter. Our run was exceptional and I enjoyed it all.
