Im sure ill get a wide variety of answers of this one! Me personally, i dont think he wants to stop but he has to understand that its inevitable that the ride has to be over very soon, like a year or two.

The way i see it there are far more negatives than positives for him to still be the coach at 78, or 79. 80 would just be selfish on his part if still here. Now i dont think he'll be here that late in his life. Shouldnt be plain & simple. Before someone potentially erupts because there is always someone, i definitely appreciate what he has done & accomplished here but at just about the highest level, idc who you are or how well you take care of self brain function will not be the same, will not be as sharp as he needs to be!

Im asking what people think cause nobody knows but probaly a few. Obvious reasons why i hope not.
1)Wont be the coach he was...obviously, & decline will continue.
2)Not being able to relate to the players or better said the way younger coaches can.
3)& of course others coaches saying these very things about JB! Im sure their probaly already doing it

Hopefully another 10 years or so. :)

703 or thereabouts

He’s gonna be 77 in November. So probably another few years. I’d guess he’d retire around 80, but could be a year or two before that or even after. At his age, you take it day by day.

Who is Beohiem? Actually I was thinking about this today with the latest commit. The coaches are doing a great job with which every route they are telling potential recruits. It's quite possible this is JAB's last season after his kids graduate, although I fully expect him to keep coaching until he passes K's win total, with or without the 101.

2 more years, then he'll retire after the 23 season. I wish he would allow himself to have a retirement tour, because he deserves it, but he wont.

Yup. He’s said so repeatedly, no retirement tour.

He’ll just decide after the season or over the summer that he’s done, and that’s that.

But - the reality is - I doubt he ever retires.
He loves it too much, it’s literally his entire life, and it’s not like (other than golf) he’s got a lot of hobbies.
His 9 game suspension gave him a glimpse of what retirement would be like, and he HATED IT.

Keep pumping out winning seasons and I don’t see why we need to set a date. If I had to guess though I would say 5 or 6 more years.

I think were very close to the end. When does his contract run out? I think thatll be it.
