Too what age do people here think beohiem will continue to coach here?

I'm 50% certain that he retires after this season, with Jackson deciding to turn Pro and both of his sons exiting the program.

The other 50% of me thinks he'll keel over before he steps away

hmm so either he will retire or he won't. Bold.

He will never retire in the off-season IMO. It will be 5-10 games into 2022 or 23.

Until, awww hell... (I keed? I keed?)

No one knows. Most people were pretty confident he’d coach until at least Buddy (and now Jimmy), but we are a year away from that and he doesn’t seem close to ready.

One thing I am fairly confident in - he’d retire once he won another title

i think him staying here trying to catch coach K could easily take some time and that could affect the appeal of syracuse basketball & his reputation as well!

Being able to coach a long time is one of the reasons he has taken such good care of himself. Selfishly, I hope he wins an NC with his 2 boys and retires, and we get a fresh , young coach, like Nate Oates.

Mmmm…gonna go with….these answers are fantastic…I’ll say 799 and not a year more.

Did I just guess the age is right Mr Barker?!

As an undergrad, boeheim met a milky eyed drifter in the cemetery who offered him a deal.

The man wore overalls that looked to be 100 years old. A banjo with straps across his back. A wicker wide brimmed hat that needlessly protected his ineffective eyes from a sun he was impervious to.

The blind stranger I’d gym up and down for a reason that has never been explained. He looked at the young man and said “you look like the type who would be interested in a parlay.”

“what’s on the table“ the young man asked.

the milky man swung his bango across his chest and said “here’s a bet i’d like to make”

“best me at the banjo, and i’ll let you decide your fate”

“but if that’s what you choose, and you happen to lose, i’ll feel sublime when your soul is mine and never can escape.”

jim accepted the old man’s terms and made his stomach squirm

When plucking streams made that sucker sing a song that made the blind man see

“well son you’ve bested me” he said the white gone from his eyes

“ask and you shall get your hearts desire is your won prize.”

young boeheim took a pause, he leaned against a tree, when he finally spoke he said

“i want to coach cuse basketball until
Im 93”

I really don't know how we can have so many on topic responses here the thread title JUST HURTS MY EYES!

English must not be the OPs first language.

And I think JB will die on the sidelines in one of the most horrific scenes ever to play out on national television. Not sure which year.

I think the Dome roof will open up and he will ascend into the night, carried by a flock of doves, after which the Dome roof will close back up. Mr Excitement will proclaim, "That's it folks. Please drive safely." And we all file out quietly as the lights fade.

Who is Beohiem? Actually I was thinking about this today with the latest commit. The coaches are doing a great job with which every route they are telling potential recruits. It's quite possible this is JAB's last season after his kids graduate, although I fully expect him to keep coaching until he passes K's win total, with or without the 101.
Yeah, I feel like that’s in the back of his mind. I get it! It may be in the front of his mind but he doesn’t seem to think like that. He always says he is focused on “the next game.” But the unconscious rules us all.
