Torrence needs to be the point guard going forward

I am talking about the rotation issue.

You have been objective this year and i know you see the other side arguments. I am not talking about the haters argument side just the change side.

Got it. FWIW, I’ve always felt Torrence should play more. And I’m not trying to throw Williams under the bus when I say his lack of readiness has thrown in a wrench into our overall plans with the rotation. He’s a freshman who needs more time to develop than most of us (including the staff) expected. That’s OK. It’s also why your argument about needing more depth at forward is one of the big takeaways so far. Buddy wasn’t going to be the answer there and Anselem may not be the answer either. JB has no other options, so his gamble didn’t pay off.

According to bis post game PC we ara a good team though.

Just be decent enough to get into the tournament and win a couple games.

This entire offseason I saw what we were and the roster we built wasn’t enough.

I have two bets with Dasher and Suskibum that we wouldn’t be a top 6 seed in the tournament.
One bet is going to the United Way of Syracuse and the other to AD fund for the new athletes complex.

I saw this for what it is was. I am not a HOFer. I think if JB were honest he would admit he built this roster because he wanted rotations like they are.

This team is missing two players but I think Sherm and Derrick are a little long in tooth.

Going into the season I was hoping JB had a point guard because Joe just isn't a one. I knew we didn't have a four. I'm not dissing Joe, he just isn't a one, full stop.

I think Buddy would be fine as a SF or SG, but this team lacks athleticism like crazy.

Its kinda on the HC to have another body who can play if Benny or Swider/Boeheim III got hurt or foul trouble.

The backcourt wouldn’t be a problem….if we had CJ Fair and Jerami Grant at forward.

The forwards wouldn’t be a problem….if we had MCW and Triche at guard.

And I’m only talking about defense.

You can’t have both starting guards and both starting forwards who can’t defend, and expect to win.

I love to know if the AD talks to Jb does Jb care what he says or is he in I don’t give a bleep mode.

I give Wildhack a lot of credit for how he handled football. I wasn’t happy with the guy but he stuck to his guns and football looks like it has a reasonable optimistic future.

Basketball JB isn’t bigger than the program.

Can somebody start a petition to make Torrence the new point guard? His performance today should make it official. Joe will be much better at the 2.

Symir is the only person on the roster capable of running the offense…but he cannot finish, so he’s not as effective as he could be if some of his penetrations could lead to direct points. Then the kick out for open threes is far more open.

Makes me really appreciate what Marek did here his final two years….

Sy finished today a few times, including using a glass near the rim and a reverse.

If he could get one or two near the rim, that unlocks a lot.

With that said, he’s not the level of talent we need in the big picture. I want Sy to start bc I think it makes us slightly better.
