Draft Combine

Better results today with the testing. Huerter really did well in lane agility. Okogie tested better than I thought even though he did look like a pretty good athlete in games. Lonnie Walker, Trier, and Battle have many similar results.

Not doing well? Was the leading scorer today, shot well, was aggressive, and played very good defense. Everyone drooled over Pinson yesterday and he didn't score today and threw the ball around for 5 turnovers.

Besides the excellent game today he tested very well. Of 53 players tested he was;

1st of 53 in shuttle run
4th of 53 in three quarter sprint
T10th of 53 in standing vertical
18th of 53 in max vertical
18th of 53 in lane agility

In shooting amongst 40 players he was;

T5th of 40 in NBA break left shooting
T31st of 40 in NBA break right shooting (ugh)
T4th of 40 in NBA corner left shooting
T3rd of 40 in NBA corner right shooting
T4th of 40 in NBA top of key shooting
T6th of 40 in NBA 15 break left shooting
T24th of 40 in NBA 15 break right shooting

Probably so. He did better today for sure. Need to compare him though to PGs/SGs/SFs when talking about these drills. Not the whole field including bigs. He tested really well in the 3/4 Sprint and Shuttle Run, but, the other tests he’s middle of the pack such as lane agility and max vertical.

Even though I don’t think hes an NBA player I still hope he gets drafted in the 1st round. It’s good for Syracuse and for him.
