I have been reading all of the bullshit about JB and it is a joke. Unless Jim has been lying and covering up he should be allowed to coach as long as he wants. Why on earth would the BOT fire him? For what? For defending someone who had been through multiple investigations and come out clean? Jim is a caustic when it comes to the press. Always has been always will. So what he shoots off his mouth. Big deal that is Jim. He had no idea what was going on and if he had im sure that he would have fired Bernie years ago. Again unless JB has been involved in this he should be allowed to continue coaching as he did nothing wrong. Now on the other hand if he is lying he should not only be fired tomorrow. As far as im concerned this is black and white he is either fired or allowed to coach no suspension no nothing.

These types of statements are those of someone who has no idea how the world works. The university could dump JB in two seconds if they felt PR wise it is the best thing for the University regardless of facts. Reality checks are in order around here...

there is a difference between what is "right" and "fair" and what is reality.

I agree my point was that he should be allowed. I didnt say that i thought he would or that the admin would allow it. Just an opinion. I find it sad that PR rules over facts especially when you have someone like Jim who has done so much for his school. I mean the guy has been here since his frosh year. If the admin can fire someone like Jim for nothing more than being loyal when he felt assured by a past investigation that he was correct than i dont know. Dont facts count anymore. It would really be tragic if he were to be let go over this and in my opinion would cost the school so much more than the short sighted gain they would achieve by letting him go

I don't believe PR wise dumping JB would be best for the U.How could it be.Seems the majority is against him being fired.Unless you include the bums on Syracuse.com.

I don't trust the munchkin in charge of Syracuse. She is too PC for anyone's good, & what kind of loyalty can we expect from her? She has only been around for a few years, & cannot feel the bond that everyone else has with this coach for nearly 40 years...

She will think only of PR damage control, & not the long term damage that dumping JB will do to the school & the Basketball program. I suspect she really doesn't care, either, because she will simply move on to another school if it gets too hot in her seat at Syracuse...
