Kind of off topic for this thread, but happened to Carter Kempney? Is he hurt, fall out of favor with the staff? He seemed to get some run his Freshman and Sophomore year but nothing that I have seen this year.

I believe he's redshirting this year. Not sure the plan but believe he was moved to ssdm.

Got a question of one of the plays during the game and maybe someone can explain it from what I thought.. I think we got lucky on one of the goals(15:30 on highlight , 8:40 game time) but when Sam English dropped his stick and caught it and then passed to Leo, wouldn't that be considered playing without Equipment?

Know exactly what ur talking bout as i saw it also. Technically prob could been called but it would been hard to see as was very fast. Plus it didn’t leave his hand that much or long seen it hit the ground n why he lost control. Either way prob was one missed.

Purely a guess on my part, but his posts just had the feel and tone of "disgruntled parent".

Doesn't appear Deere was hurt but one thing I think is clear Anderson showed why he should be at attack this game. As long as Thomson is out he should be at attack. Once Thomson is back he should definitely be on the 2nd mid line

This one is tough! If your bringing in Anderson for one ACC game, it stands to reason that he would play against the rest of the conference. If the coaches want more physicality and size, no one else on the roster matches up with what Anderson brings. But Thomson is a good player, and he fits in with the rest of the offense so well. Perhaps, whatever he lacks in brute strength, he can make up for in shooting accuracy and
smarts. Anderson hasn't looked comfertble as a middie so far this year, which complicates things.

I don't see them splitting up the first line midfield, they've played together all season and have seen a ton of time. Perhaps you could replace Rhoa with Thomson, since English and Leo are familiar with Thomson from playing on the same line last year, but I don't know. Rhoa would go from getting a shorty as a 1 to getting poled as a 2. Could Hottle/McCarthy exploit that? As much as Rhoa could as a 1?

I'm not sure what the coaches will do (I did not see them starting Anderson coming, at all). I would guess that Thomson gets his old spot back, with Anderson being a "break in glass in case of emergency" contingency" and the second line stays together, despite their struggles. Either way, having lots of good players is a good problem to have. Hopefully it's making game planning for SU that much more difficult.

as 26 said it was quick. when players switch hands, very often both hands can be off the stick for a split second on the transfer, and he was in the middle of that transfer. it was wonky as his butt end touched the ground because he slipped, butt that's never getting called. not the meaning of the rule.

Donny Scott - anyone have any info as to why we haven't seen him in action . Other than some early season clean up minutes , I don't recall seeing him . Given how highly touted he was , surprised to not see him in for minutes when Grace was banged up in a game earlier or Dwan needed a rest . They went with Cacammo or Kol which makes sense given experience but don't believe we've seen him as part of junkyard dogs either ? In waiting for Grace job? don't see where he will fit in otherwise

Vincent Bolognino has played a little bit. I really like his game. Super athletic but needs to gain weight. Played on the wings in the Manhattan and Towson games.
