There’s been a lot of Fran growing pains and I’m not sold on some of his coaches, but we can’t deny it’s been a really exciting season. The UNLV game and today are both games we lose under Dino. Every game we win I think back to how we screwed up the stanford game. The Pitt game just needs to be flushed down the toilet.

Two other extra points were almost blocked too, and Petry did not even look up to block the guy who blocked the kick. It was already blocked BEFORE he finally picked his head up! What was he doing? He was also the guy who messed up the blocked punts versus UNLV. the last xp he was not in his usual spot though.

To be honest announcers were clueless most of the game

Agree with that. Love when our alums do that on purpose too. Still remember where I was when we officially announced we were no longer the “Orangemen”. Still have not gotten over it.

Maybe the two most clueless announcers I have ever heard do a Syracuse game. Got names wrong over and over, commented on nonsense while consequential plays (and rulings) were going on, that they seemed oblivious to.

The next person who says Allen isn't a good running back needs to be tarred and feathered. Tarred and feathered I say.

I watched condensed game and he seems to be deaper in backfield and way more downhill while before it seamed they wanted him to be a cut back type like Tucker was and we werent blocking guys downhill and this game i saw plenty of players on oline knocking guys off ball. So glad.

According to Fran's presser, LQA made sure the VT sideline knew they were in HIS house. LQA headed back to the huddle, but then turned around and said something more.

Fran pulled LQA for 1 play, had a nice talk with him, then sent him back in and said "Go get the 15 yards you owe me"

Just watched Fran presser. He was a little salty with the media. I don’t believe anyone asked him about the special teams disasters, which is a disgrace by the local media.

Upon reflection, VA Tech was a huge program win. The Pitt loss was disheartening for everyone and the team responded with an OT win. We can still get to eight wins, which would be a huge accomplishment. Lequint was clutch. So was Ross-Simmons. The defense also caused some turnovers including the game winner. Lots of game balls today. Kudos to all...
