Watching the 2006 and now 2009 big east tourney. Arinze and Rautins both were on the bench in 2006 and stars in 2009. Ppl waited and learned how to play. Now players that have shown nothing want immediate PT. I don’t get it.

It’s a two step process: 1) recruit ACC caliber guards 2) play more than two of them

We have 3 guards on the roster right now.

Not ideal, but not unprecedented. Pretty sure we made a final four in ‘13 and a sweet 16 in ‘18 in similar circumstances.

I would think we’d be able to add a 4th guard for depth and possible emergency minutes if needed...I think that’s what we kinda did with Washington in the first place?

Goodine could have and should have played a bit more. The other guys were never good. I still don’t think 15-20 mpg keeps him here. The new transfer rules mean guys want to play immediately and if they don’t they will leave.

Braswell is rumored to be the 4th to transfer. I actually think Braswell might be better suited to play the 2 instead of the 3 with his slight frame, he could be a good catch and shoot guy. The chronic leg injuries may shelve his career though.

If you have Hulu, watch “Big Time Adolescence”. My brother is the film commissioner here and got that movie here to film 100% in Syracuse at Shiftys, Nottingham high school, Salt city dogs, ra-lin, all over the place. It was the first movie to sell at Sundance too this year. I enjoyed it and great to see Syracuse on big screen in a positive way. $3m in economic impact for our city in 45 days. Sorry I like sharing good news but check it out !

Very true but a JFlynn/Devo backcourt didn’t play 40 minutes and Rautins played the back line yet his 6-6 son can’t at all??

playing your starters too many minutes all season doesn't give you a better chance to win. how do i know this ? look at the top 25 programs players rotations this year and compare . they win and get ranked. we don't.

I guess Flynn and devo has to play close to most of game. Also, if boeheim had an option he would have taken buddy and more so JG3 out more. When goodine and Washington came on the floor they provided nothing. No spacing, shooting...nothing. How can you leave them out there for extended time?

Goodine would have wanted more minutes than what he was gonna get, even if it was 20mpg
