Either the offensive personnel is simply terrible (even with injury), or the coaches are terrible, or both. IMO if Shafer anoints Lester for next year, and doesn't make other significant changes, he's done.Defense is good but everything else is turrible. One more season in my mind to turn this around.
When you hire your Division 3 buddies...
Just heartbreaking. How does Shafer keep his job this year? Just awful.

Yes, but the leash is very short.with the amount of injuries no head coach should get fired off this year.
Any thoughts of us having "turned the corner" can go right out the window.
I am so ready for this season to be over.

next year is make or break yearYes, but the leash is very short.
With the injuries...it is close. We're not quite as talent deficient as we were under GRob.
for the love of god, can we stop saying that the defense is good?Defense is good but everything else is turrible. One more season in my mind to turn this around.
who are you going to get at offensive coordinator? Everyone keeps calling for change here, but who can we get with no money. Look as Muschamp at Florida, 3 offensive coordinators including Charlie Weiss……and it still didn't help! We're poorly coached, we're depleted, and our skilled talent is subpar.
Hate to say it, because I've been a Shafer supporter, but I don't think he's got the chops to be a head coach. I've seen enough.
And I agree 100% with the post above--our offense is terrible, and I see no positive signs that things might turn around.
No depth... They are spent...for the love of god, can we stop saying that the defense is good?
