Either the offensive personnel is simply terrible (even with injury), or the coaches are terrible, or both. IMO if Shafer anoints Lester for next year, and doesn't make other significant changes, he's done.

TGD got courtside seats for a long time. He came to Su to "fix" football. Hired a bust, got his hand forced for #2 (heck knows what happened there) now this.

I just hope he realizes that what he's got now on offense ain't working and needs to change. A lot.

Hate to say it, because I've been a Shafer supporter, but I don't think he's got the chops to be a head coach. I've seen enough.

And I agree 100% with the post above--our offense is terrible, and I see no positive signs that things might turn around.

I'm noticing the beginnings of a pattern...

GRob and staff could recruit, couldn't coach.
Marrone and staff could coach, couldn't recruit.
Shafer and staff can recruit, can't coach.

Honestly, how many NFL players were recruited under Marrone's tenure?

who are you going to get at offensive coordinator? Everyone keeps calling for change here, but who can we get with no money. Look as Muschamp at Florida, 3 offensive coordinators including Charlie Weiss……and it still didn't help!
