What is “ACC caliber?”

Is a Duke walk-on still ACC caliber? Is a zero-PT scholarship player for BC an ACC caliber player?

It’s kind of a meaningless status/quality designation.

Yet I’m seeing the same garbage he was doing last year that people are all of a sudden noticing this year. He did the same thing last year, it’s amazing what the last minute 3s he would make last season masked how bad he really was.

Yeah, not to pile on, but I said last year that his play against UNC (apparently the Joe Girard vs. Cole Anthony game with eight other guys standing around, in his eyes) was the worst thing I'd seen from a Syracuse player since Deshaun Williams was in school.

Goodine was not an ACC calibre guard yet everyone clamored for him to play.

Girard’s going on two years of double digit scoring and was almost on the ACC’s all freshman team. But we think he’s not acc calibre and better luck to ya in the Ivy’s?

Posted some in recruiting thread. 21 Kidtrell Blocker from Rochester, NY playing at Tennessee Prep. 6'5 combo guard with length and can score starting to get some attention. His prep school said hit up the phones!!
