Seriously I love your passion for Dino. He is by all accounts other than one poster a good person. It's good to be loyal but at some point, results have to matter in life and business. Dino has been provided more lives than most Cats get. He has been overpaid for a very long time so he will be fine. I'm sure some network will pick him up and he will do great on TV. Hes a natural. Bottom line is Dino will be just fine. Question why do you think he should be retained?

Believe what you want, but this is simply not true. The AD's office, and Chancellor, are highly vested in making the program competitive. Follow the money.

They are but only to a point. Dinos still here because SU didnt want to pay the buyout on the extension, full stop.

In year 7, again YEAR 7, you have a P5 D1 team with zero TEs, a backup FB thats a walking penalty and a non D1 player, absolutely the worst collection of Wrs in all of P5 and if not for Orande all of D1, a 2nd straight year with a punter who can't get the ball beyond 30 yards and a team that has to be averaging like 15 penalties a game no hyperbole.

How in the world is moving on now in year 7 considered crazy?

Dude, you’re just not seeing the progress. Even if we win 1-4 games next year we’re on the right track. It takes time to build a program. Recruiting is picking up……

Don't settle for a guy who has two winning seasons and has been through more staff than carters got pills. There are plenty of coaches who would love to Coach SU. Power 5. 100 million project to support football. The JMA redone. The administration is 100% behind football. Dino has had more than enough time to show us who he is as a coach and the answer is average. Don't settle we can do better.

Break the “In case of emergency” glass and phone Coach O.
He would take the job. He would provide the talent to compete in the ACC. We simply cannot go with a coach unless he is a supreme recruiter.
Gimmicks, smoke and
mirrors are not sustainable. We need an influx of big strong linemen and a good pocket passer on O. Some big bull rusher linemen on D.
Dino has had enough time to prove he is not that guy.

For one, that’s a weird question. You don’t get rid of a coach that’s clearly not getting the job done because you’re not sure who to get as a coach. There’s never been a successful business who had that thought cross their mind. It’s such an illogical question.

There are tons of coaches out there. The question isn’t who, the question is having the right person pick the right coach. Not the nicest guy, not the guy that makes everyone feel good. The guy that can do the job. It’s not like there’s some shortage of coaches.

I don’t disagree on that but if you’re arguing we can’t get guys close and we don’t even offer 4-5 “local” kids who now play D1 football……. We’re decimated by injuries apparently so again, it seems like not offering some local kids that play elsewhere potentially could have helped. Nobody is arguing we can build a team with NYS talent. That was always a dimb argument to me. But on a team with no depth, it’s hard to argue a few players who are playing somewhere else might help a little.

Any AD worth their salt always has a list of who he wants as the next HC. I don’t know who we get, but Wildhack should know who he wants. Dino was not ADJW‘s hire. He’s given Dino everything he wanted. It hasn’t worked out

With the very real rumblings of him and Anae not being on the same page is terrifying.

My first choice is the man standing on our own sidelines, defensive coordinator Tony White.

Bronco Mendenhall could be option.

We honestly missed the home run hire Leipold. He was able to recruit to Buffalo, he would be able to recruit here.

Not my personal favorite choice but Marrone also is a possibility and has been VERY active recently with Cuse and Cuse athletics.

There’s PLENTY of guys that you can hire.

It’s an issue and it’s fireable. I can’t just go to my job and work for 1/2 the year and then send it in for the 2nd half and not produce. I would be fired…

Personally, I like the guy from Coastal Carolina, can’t think of his name right now. Watched their game last week. Exciting offense to watch. He’s young and can recruit well
