I think it's fair to say that we want to get to the ACC as soon as possible and at a reasonable cost. We also want a vacuum in recruiting created by the dimunition of Rutgers and UConn. These two goals may or may not be in synch with one another.
Are we more likely to get out faster at a reasonable price if the NNBE lines up enough new FB teams or is that goal better accomplished by the B12 grabbing L-Ville, WV and maybe Cincy, thereby imploding the league before the FB newbies can even join? Under the former scenario, would the new FB teams pretty much guarantee AQ status ... and is AQ status what the NNBE really wanted to ensure by keeping SU and Pitt around for 27 months?
Will Rutgers and UConn be sufficiently diminished by being a member of the NNBE and is that a good enough trade-off (meaning NNBE survives as a AQ and we get the hell out ASAP)?
And finally, why is Mizzou *cking with everyone?
