Class of 2024 WR Jeremy Scott (MS/AL) Potral to TCU

I want this kid ALOT. If we got this kid and Ian Strong to go along with Russell and with what’s already on roster. Angeli would be one happy dude
How would we afford Strong if we cannot afford Gill? Asking for a friend.

South Alabama wide receiver Jeremy Scott entered the NCAA transfer portal in early January 2026 after a standout freshman season (24 catches, 417 yards, 4 TDs), immediately drawing interest from major programs like Georgia, Ole Miss, and Washington, with his big-play ability (17.4 yards/catch) making him a hot commodity for schools seeking explosive receiving threats.
Key Details:

  • From South Alabama: He played for the Jaguars as a redshirt freshman in 2025.
  • Stats: Posted 24 catches for 417 yards and 4 touchdowns, averaging 17.4 yards per reception, tying for the team lead in receiving TDs.
  • Attributes: A big, 6-foot-3 wideout, he's known as a big-play threat. Google
  • Recruitment: After entering the portal, he quickly became a target for several Power 5 schools, with visits lined up for Georgia, Ole Miss, Syracuse, Houston, and Baylor, notes 247Sports and X.
  • Background: Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, he was a highly-rated recruit out of high school who initially committed to Ole Miss before going to South Alabama, reports

Because posters are assuming that Gill in the portal is about money.
Except it’s not an assumption in this case? Richmondcuse has made comments that Gill is likely a case of money. Not treating it as 100% true, but he’s pretty tuned in so I consider it more than assumption.

I don’t know how this will affect him coming to Syracuse but fans on twitter need to just shut their mouth sometimes. Kids see everything you post on social media.

but how will we know they are from upstate NY unless they complain about literally everything, coming from some one who is a current SU student who also complains about literally everything, it is not an unearned stereotype in certain circles.
