Class of 2024 WR Jeremy Scott (MS/AL) Potral to TCU

Profile pic says a lot
I hope this doesn’t affect the chances of landing him most likely not but stuff like this definitely isn’t a positive in recruiting a player

I'm sure they've seen dumber stuff on social media, but I'd prefer people used their brains a little more.
That’s hard bc some people’s brains don’t work so smart. Just look at … nah not going there today

but how will we know they are from upstate NY unless they complain about literally everything, coming from some one who is a current SU student who also complains about literally everything, it is not an unearned stereotype in certain circles.
There was a study conducted by Onondaga County 15-20 years ago trying to determine why we were not getting the economic resurgence at Buffalo, Rochester iand , I think, Albany we’re getting at the time.
The number one conclusion was the attitude of the people in Syracuse. I like to say that until our most recent county executive, Syracuse always had the attitude “ that can’t succeed, and even if they can’t succeed, it can’t succeed here.” Folks here complain about everything. It’s annoying and a bit depressing, to be honest. Some have connected it to the lack of sunshine, which is as good a reason as any.

TBF, that was a very, VERY long time ago.

I have never seen anything like it anyplace else. It's odd that this region has such a half empty look on life

I don’t know how this will affect him coming to Syracuse but fans on twitter need to just shut their mouth sometimes. Kids see everything you post on social media.

Kids and families read this message board as well. Best for all of us to stay somewhat on topic vs the cesspool of political, religious, etc zealots that social media is of the 20% that aren't bot accounts.

That said, our fanbase is relatively tame compared to others in that regard. Lot's of chicken little types but nothing close to other fanbases where kids have bad games/seasons and have the worst possible things said and even threats made.

Anyway, glad we got Jeremy "great" Scott in for a visit. Perhaps he can take us back to the future of great SU wide outs like Marvin Harrison, Art Monk, Rob Moore, Tommy Kane (on the feild), Kevin Johnson, Quinton Spotwood, Alec Lemon (some say Missouri still trying to figure out who's supposed to be covering him), Ambani Etta-Tawo, Steve Ishmael, Orande Gadsden III, Jackson Meeks, etc., etc.

From my relatives in Elmira to growing up in Rochester, I’d have to agree.

It started happening back when GE and other industries started moving out after Rockefeller left, and Mario Cuomo became Governor and started raising everyone's taxes. Unfortunately it has never stopped.
We lost almost all of our industry during that time, and it was never replaced. That was a lot of good paying jobs, which went to other states.
