A lot of bowl projections seem to be lazy and more intended to drive internet traffic to sites
I think he meant the 28th and it's Pinstripe or Gator...And then there is this nugget...
Media Scoop of the Year: Syracuse Headed to Gator Bowl?
Since Syracuse’s thrilling comeback against Miami, Central New York’s favorite parlor game is guessing which bowl they end up in. One intrepid student reporter and his brother may have gotten the scoop directly from Kyle McCord. It’ll be… the Gator Bowl. Luke Radel is a member of the student...orangefizz.net
The Holiday Bowl is December 27th...I think he meant the 28th and it's Pinstripe or Gator...
Call me old-fashioned but I love classic recognizable 2nd tier bowls (e.g. Sun, Holiday, Gator) that have been around a long time and that when you say them outloud they don't sound ridiculous. My guess is Gator Bowl or Holiday Bowl.
I will definitely be attending this game . My fingers are crossed that we get it! Do some lobbying Bulldog04 ! Get us there !The Gator Bowl and their committee and foundation do an unreal job. I lived in Ponte Vedra Beach for 4 years before moving back to cuse this summer and we did all their events at our club. They raise a ton of money for the gator bowl and the treatment of the teams that play is something I’ve never seen before. From the hotel stays to what they give the players, it is absolutely unreal. They have the committee with Tax Slayer and then have the Gator Bowl Association as well and they are super particular with who plays in this bowl because of the reputation they have in North Florida and what they do for the community as well. If cuse gets it, everyone should really consider going that can go. Everything they do is top n
Isn't which bowl pretty much going to be determined by the Clemson result?
I have only been to 2 bowls in my life - Gator and Orange during the McNab years. The Gator Bowl experience was top notch and the Clemson fans were actually quite nice. The Gator Bowl and their committee and foundation do an unreal job. And most significant recruiting wise as well. Although it's hard to say what that means anymore.I want that game vs Florida in the Gator bowl. Most exciting imo.
Jack Murphy was destroyed a few years ago. The new SDSU stadium, Snapdragon Stadium is built on the same site. Beautiful venue.Where do they even play the Holiday Bowl these days? Is it at Jack Murphy Stadium where the Chargers played or do they squeeze it into the Padres stadium?
I’ve heard it’s great. And with 34k capacity it’s perfect for a bowlJack Murphy was destroyed a few years ago. The new SDSU stadium, Snapdragon Stadium is built on the same site. Beautiful venue.
It really is and not a bad seat in the house. Also the trolley drops you at the stadium.I’ve heard it’s great. And with 34k capacity it’s perfect for a bowl
One more question while I have you. Does San Diego really mean A Whale's Vagina or is that just a myth?Jack Murphy was destroyed a few years ago. The new SDSU stadium, Snapdragon Stadium is built on the same site. Beautiful venue.
Hahaha. What's funny is that movie came out 20 years ago, and I would say, for probably the next 10 years about 60% of the bands I saw live here would use that quote. One more question while I have you. Does San Diego really mean A Whale's Vagina or is that just a myth?
