2024 bowl projections thread

They are definitely waiting on the ACCCG like I said. If we were getting Gator or pop tarts for sure it would be announced already

Probably best for Fran and the program if it’s the Gator vs Florida. Selfishly, I’m hoping for the Sun or the Holiday bowl because I will drive to either.

And then there is this nugget...

I think he meant the 28th and it's Pinstripe or Gator...

My guess is Gator Bowl or Holiday Bowl.
Call me old-fashioned but I love classic recognizable 2nd tier bowls (e.g. Sun, Holiday, Gator) that have been around a long time and that when you say them outloud they don't sound ridiculous.

Like a 9-3 Gator Bowl season just sounds solid to me.

The Gator Bowl and their committee and foundation do an unreal job. I lived in Ponte Vedra Beach for 4 years before moving back to cuse this summer and we did all their events at our club. They raise a ton of money for the gator bowl and the treatment of the teams that play is something I’ve never seen before. From the hotel stays to what they give the players, it is absolutely unreal. They have the committee with Tax Slayer and then have the Gator Bowl Association as well and they are super particular with who plays in this bowl because of the reputation they have in North Florida and what they do for the community as well. If cuse gets it, everyone should really consider going that can go. Everything they do is top notch

I will definitely be attending this game . My fingers are crossed that we get it! Do some lobbying Bulldog04 ! Get us there !

Isn't which bowl pretty much going to be determined by the Clemson result?

In theory yes.

But now a days these schools make back door deals etc to get to the game they want

I have only been to 2 bowls in my life - Gator and Orange during the McNab years. The Gator Bowl experience was top notch and the Clemson fans were actually quite nice.
My best friend and I will go to the Gator Bowl if Kyle plays, otherwise it is frankly not worth it.

The Syracuse football team will find out its bowl destination on Sunday afternoon.

Fans can tune into ESPN beginning at Noon for the College Football Playoff Selection Show, where the College Football Playoff selections, final rankings and bowls will be announced. No. 22 Syracuse's bowl selection is anticipated to be announced mid-afternoon.

I want that game vs Florida in the Gator bowl. Most exciting imo.
And most significant recruiting wise as well. Although it's hard to say what that means anymore.

Where do they even play the Holiday Bowl these days? Is it at Jack Murphy Stadium where the Chargers played or do they squeeze it into the Padres stadium?
