2024 bowl projections thread

Sun Bowl is the only non-starter for me in this array.

I’ve always wanted to go to El Paso. Not.
El Paso is interesting. It's on the Mexican border so you'd think it would be a warm destination but in late December it can get very cold/windy there.

It's definitely a beautiful venue.

Me too. I used to live in Gainesville and still have some good friends there . It would be a fun match up. Fun fact: the Orange came to Gainesville when I lived there, led by Todd Norley and Coach Mac. It was not a good outcome!
The best Syracuse game I've ever been to live was also against Florida when they came to the Dome in 1991. Kirby Dar Dar reverse for a TD on the opening kickoff!

Jack Murphy was destroyed a few years ago. The new SDSU stadium, Snapdragon Stadium is built on the same site. Beautiful venue.
Not sure if true or not but I heard they wanna move the campus down there too eventually

It really is and not a bad seat in the house. Also the trolley drops you at the stadium.
I am kicking myself for not going when I was out there visiting my daughter in October. I missed one of the Aztecs few wins(Hawaii). Our UNLV game was the night before so I think I was too mentally exhausted after that!

I have only been to 2 bowls in my life - Gator and Orange during the McNab years. The Gator Bowl experience was top notch and the Clemson fans were actually quite nice.
My best friend and I will go to the Gator Bowl if Kyle plays, otherwise it is frankly not worth it.
I was at the gator in 96. Remember Buzz Shaw breaking a chandelier at Jacksonville Landing at a pep rally.

I was soo hung over for the game. Thankfully it wasn’t much of a game

The great Sean Lewis was 3-9 this year

This year I agree we can do better, but since I was a kid I've dreamed of attending a bowl at this venue. There's really nothing like it.

Sun Bowl, Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, all iconic. I don't have a lot of "bucket list" venues. Made the SU game at Tiger Stadium a few years back. Hit Wrigley this summer. Not many left. Fran Wildhack, get me to the Sun!

He was handed a bigtime rebuild, they don’t have the horses, especially at the skill positions(QB is very promising however) to do what he wants to do. I assume your “great” comment was sarcasm, if so, you might want to look at what Kent State was before he went there/is now compared to when he was there. The guy can coach, Hoke left him with a bad roster to overhaul
