Suggestions:
1) For those that hate Notre Dame with a passion, please start a new thread, mods please facilitate this. You are ruining a good conversation.
2). ESPN does not hate the ACC. The ACCN makes them money, get over it. If ESPN is about make ng money (which they are) they will not prop up one property and tear down another, that does not make sense when both are money makers. You destroy your own arguments when you say ESPN wants the SECN to make all the money and will keep the ACCN down, and then argue follow the money.
3) While our faith in humanity has been restored with the obligatory UMass to the (ACC/B1G), that task has been met, let's keep it out of the conversation going forward.
4) Ditto for WVU, though humorous posts from their fanbase may be allowed if on point.
5) Stop with BU/TTU/TCU to the ACC or PAC. None of them add significant value. TTU is a state school in the middle of nowhere. Baylor and TCU are in the DFW DMA, but that is all. They weren't wanted in the B12, Baylor got in because the then Governor was a Baylor grad. TCU got in after the B12 was raided. UH has the best shot as an expansion team for either the ACC or PAC and it is less than 1%.
6) See #1, stop with the ND hate. Hate them for being ND ( I do), but if you have no real evidence of a breach of contract, just stop discussing such in this thread. To date, ND has been a good member of the ACC whether anyone likes it or not. Get over it, move on, pick a euphemism and follow it.
7) Stop with USC/ND counting as USC's "annual ACC Game". You obviously miss the fact that ND has two games annually with PAC teams, USC and Stanford. It is likely that once in rotation each game may count as an ACC game, but highly doubtful that this would be "the" annual game. We went through the same logic when discussing ND's rotation for ACC teams (they will only play Miami, Clemson, and FSU). Do you really believe USC wouldn't want a cupcake on their schedule now and then?
8) If you need to bash som one in this thread bash Rutgers. They deserve it on so many levels.
I now return you to your previously scheduled arguments.
