Buffalo Bills 2021 Thread

The handoffs in the red zone are a wasted down.

These coaches need to shut up about being physical or execution or whatever bs buzzword they want to use… y’all built a finesse bi***made team and you’re only hope in the red zone is Allen.

Own your mistake in roster building and do better over the off-season.
That is where I am at. Don’t spew talking points at me when we watch the same mess every week. OL gets dominated and DL makes every opposing running back look like Sean Tucker (see what I did there?). We failed to address one line and threw gobs of resources at the other with nothing to show for it.

I hate to be so reactionary but I am ready for roster moves. This team is criminally soft in the trenches, full stop. And whomever told McD to challenge that spot at the end of the 3rd should be fired tonight.

Draft IOL in the 1st and 2nd Round. Draft two RBs if you need to.

Then move off Hughes, Addison and Butler. I don’t even care who we replace them with, just stop spending so much money on a mediocre af DL.

Edmunds… no ’n clue what to do with him.

Hughes Addison and Edmunds are all in the final year of their deals, we probably let all 3 walk, the first two for sure

The staff shouldn’t known quite quickly that we couldn’t play the game NE wanted to play and we drafted Allen for a reason.

Allen had them moving the ball when we let him - into the wind. Sadly, they didn’t let him until desperation time on the last two drives.

This is my biggest disappointment especially in the 1st quarter. Let Allen toss it and jump on them for a lead.

Can't wait to watch Fournett run for 150 next week and Gronk destroy us in the redzone like the good old days

Honestly I don't know if McDermott is the guy to get this team to a SB or even back to a deep playoff run. He makes mindboggling bad decisions in game and he seems clueless about our redzone issues. He needs to make some adjustments

Knox false start at the end was BRUTAL
At the end of the day, our defense couldn’t stop them when we literally knew exactly what was coming on every snap. And offensively, we had a grand total of like 8 real opportunities to make something happen. Half of those went to Knox and almost all of those resulted in Knox blowing it as he’s done every year in his career.

All the usual Bills issues versus the Pats. The fumble and Harris TD the two killers. McDermott should be banned from challenges as well whoever told him to challenge that should be fired immediately
I assumed he was just trying to stop the clock while we had the wind on our side and if it happened to get overturned, even better. He is a terrible challenger in general though so it’s possible he actually thought that was a good challenge opportunity.

Here’s something maybe out of left field, but an observation I’ve had is Allen doesn’t take deep drops back in the pocket like some do. What happens then is the pressure from the middle gets in sooner, and he can’t step up immediately like youre taught as a QB. So then he often tries to take another step back after the fact which runs directly into the edge rushers, where he has to escape or ends up taking a loss.

Maybe I am seeing things.

Agree, total yards misleading when they ran every single play.

We're not built to shut down the run even in obvious situations. Even with tonight's bad script they had a chance to win. Call it a moral victory but in a bunch of these losses they haven't gotten the leads and stepped their foot on teams and it's why they're 7-5.

Last year was the complete opposite. Cut down on the mistakes and play aggressive

The Bills just melted down in their postgame press conference

The Bills dynasty is over.

What dynasty? We made the AFC champ game thats it. Pats fans have to pump the brakes, zero chance this current Pats team is a SB contender let's see them win when Jones has to actually pass the ball or come from behind.

My golf cart has no brakes. The Pats are an 8-9 team this year according to the national media...I am in house money territory building a franchise for 2022 and beyond.

I'm just waiting for a single team in the AFC to demonstrate it is capable of being the stop gap team in the AFC until we get our shates together.

That said...

First we couldnt win.
Then we couldnt win vs a good team
Then we couldnt win vs a good team who wasnt missing a bunch of guys
Then we couldnt win vs a good team in their house.
Now..we cant come from behind?

Ok I guess?
