I’m with you. Brings back sore memories of a 1960’s loss where official F. G. Skibbie allowed them to kick a FG AFTER time had run out. Cost us the game...and an Orange Bowl bid. NCAA rules committee a week later said that SU should have won. Father Hessberg, ND Chancellor at the time, refused to give the win back to us. Still pissed at ND. Hope we kick their snobbish butts.

I agree and our resume us better but if we had been without battle for 15 games and had beaten nd at nd wed be screaming bloody murder.

Maybe so, but the NCAA committee member effectively said that the bad losses they had with Colson and Farrell cancelled out any injury excuse and that one could not assess if they would have had a better record if the injuries hadn't occurred.

With him -
Good wins: Wichita, VaTech
Bad losses: Ball State, Indiana

Without him -
Good wins: NC State (ND won by 30, Farrell played 15min), syracuse (no Farrell), FSU
Bad losses: @GaTech (no Farrell)
