We were only down one score though! And it was a great punt, so that's all that matters. Pay no mind to the message sent to the team by not having any faith in them getting 6 inches, and that we just wanna play not to lose.

I’d love to combine Tommy and Rex...Rex knows where he wants to go with the ball, but his arm just won’t allow it. Tommy isn’t so sure where the ball needs to go, but he had a great arm.

It ended up working out in the sense that Clemson didn’t score because of that, but it was still a strange decision.

When you have a team on the ropes, you go for the kill. The exchange of punts served to extinguish any momentum we had. Despite how good the punt was, we still lost >15 yards of field position
