It’s unfortunate to see us lose both Love and Caden Brown with how much effort the staff put into both prospects.

Its always a downer.

I hope in time we reconsider how we recruit. Would like to see more of a focus on the portal. Think thats how we’ll be able to keep up in this new environment.

Yeah I don’t even know if that matters anymore. At any given time a program can come in and outbid us for a recruit or a player on the roster. The whole thing sucks right now.

It has nothing to do with winning or they wouldn’t be going to Rutgers. That’s become a non starter for me. Dino has yet to recruit a big time, highly rated hs player. Eight years and still nothing.

I'm not saying this is the case here but with some of these kids that SU has been recruiting for a while we need to keep in mind that there are now a new OC, DC and position coaches. The type of prospect the last staff recruited isn't necessarily going to be the same for this staff.

Dino put time in personally on this one so not the case here. But I get your point with potentially other prospects.

I’d say average is being nice. I like Dino, but he’s a horrible recruiter. We’re getting blown out of the water for northeast kids and Rutgers. Everyone says that Dino has to have a couple of winning seasons. That BS. Rutgers continues to take him to the woodshed and they are horrible.
