Are you really pressing on with this? How about this, maybe Jek's source told him that ED was cleared but we don't want LSU to know. That would be in the same ballpark with RW is gone but keep saying he is still with us. I'm not saying that is the case of course but the OP has been correct in the past and must have heard from someone what he posted. After watching the hit, I would be more than surprised if ED was cleared at least this soon. But I am not going to attack a poster for writing something that he heard. I have had that done to me (and I was proven correct) and I don't want it done to anyone else.
While in my head I doubt that OP and the title was correct, to call it a lie, plain and simple is out of bounds. You don't know that. And to call someone's info a lie and not simplyu incorrect is terrible.

Yeah, I don't think it was a lie. I think it was someone who got information that, as it turns out, probably wasn't correct. I believe it was shared in good faith that the source was accurate.

He will live it down. But there is a difference between writing something that is incorrect and writing something you know to be false. Jek said he told people that he knew RW's commit was shaky but publicly he said everything was a-okay. That is very bad for your credibility. I like Jek and I like his site. But...you don't intentionally give out bad information. That is what you are accusing the OP of. I don't believe the OP did that. But Jek has admitted doing that in the RW case.
