The Boo's will tell himWho's goona tell Dino?
I still think we should play both at the same time. Two quarterbacks, two running backs and 2 receivers. Noah's Ark.

i hope the QB eventually wins who will use the entire field when passing

It’s an important conversation. Im glad we’re having it.You know what they say Dan-o
If you have two QBs you don't have any QBs
Devito is better than Troy, who couldn’t push the ball more than 20 yds from the LOS, and I’m confident GS is more talented than RJHaving flashbacks to when P was rotating Nunes and RJ...

My point wasn’t about game performance. We know his strengths and weaknesses. I’m referring to the ongoing competition. Ive been hearing comments on and off this board saying TD is “Dino’s favorite, “his prized recruit”. It’s insinuating that Dino isn’t giving Shrader a fair look and that TD didn’t earn it. It makes no sense. Plus it’s a fixed mindset. I’ve been as critical as anyone on TD. It’s a clean slate right now with me. I can’t get myself to think that way after 23 years of teaching and coaching. I’ve seen way too many people prove me wrong lol.Agree with what you’re saying, but I don’t think there are many here that don’t think TD battles hard or looks good with the green jersey on.
it’s when it all goes live
The devil is in the details. Let’s hope Dino has a feel for the game and rides a hot QB, instead of forcing a strict rotation and derailing the O.
Dude, the only thing that's important is that the kids get a great education and hopefully have fun along the way.every kid knows on every team who the starters should be.
this is not Rec baseball where everyone bats and everyone plays.
this is major college football at the P4 level.
if TD was beat out, his ass would and should be on the bench.
the loyalty to the team?? the loyalty to the team is...to play the best players and win ballgames.
these young men are old enough to be able to put their friendships to the side and roll with whomever the coaches go with.
if shrader comes in on the goal line and starts doing jump passes then fine, if he comes in on the 3rd series because thats what the bill walsh script said...then we've got a problem.
not only at QB, but at HC.
I don’t accept the assertion that it’s not possible to assemble a good OL. That isn’t true and has done not so long ago. I’m going with the premise that the OL is going to be pretty good because of the age and experience of the guys across the line, the depth of the position, and the ability to get maximum reps in.

Let's worry about beating Ohio first, we still don't know if either QB can effectively run the offense.kids should be brought in all the time to push the starters, we are just used to 1 qb per 3-4 years.
and that is sad.
we also were burned, the last time we had a high end QB transfer come in, i refuse to be had again.
i want to see it on the field and id prefer, to only see 1 QB per game.
if TD sucks v the underbelly of the schedule, which happens again to be the month of September, then we will all see it pretty quick. that rutgers game seems to be the boards anointed changing of the guard date...it might be too early, it might not, but not beating rutty to go 2-0 is not good.
i dont like babers language and his thought process.
Completely agree. Need a win and I’d like to see some sustained offensive drives and some short yardage conversions. If we get those, the offensive line will have done their job and a lot of the kvetching we are doing now will be put in the rear view mirror.Let's worry about beating Ohio first, we still don't know if either QB can effectively run the offense.
couldn't be more wrong...I'll say it again:kids should be brought in all the time to push the starters, we are just used to 1 qb per 3-4 years.

I’m here. Until one clearly plays better then the other yet the worst one gets trot out. Then I will care lol.I really don’t care. Anyone else?
Respectfully I disagree.couldn't be more wrong...I'll say it again:
ESPN alert just said Babers playing 2 QBs
Are we sure about that? Agreed and that is all Dino was really saying, I do agree with him but whether it happens or not remains to be seen. Any coach would be preparing for both anyway, it's all just coach speak. I do expect both to play though but even if they weren't Dino would be saying...syracusefan.com
Respectfully I disagree.
guys like you convinced me TD should not be a D1 QB. So if that’s the case, what are we doing here? What’s the point of ‘playing the seniors’ to start the year?
If he sucks that bad, he would not be well liked and respected. The team wouldve found a nice way to feeeze him out.
I don’t know what the hell is going on and I don’t think dino does either.
Cuse has been a National joke for football for 2 long and announcing we have 2 QBs feeds that fire.
I’m embarrassed.
Not from me!‘TD should not be a D1 QB’
where did that come from?
