Just put that whole album up here.Released in 1970. This was always a fun one, although it smells of heartbreak.

Only problem is a bunch were recorded in the magical year of 1969.Just put that whole album up here.
Nice. Too young to have seen the Doors live, but would have loved it. If I ever get my hands on a time machine, I'm heading to the Whiskey a Go Go to see the Doors open for Van Morrison. My aunt, much younger than her other 5 sisters, moved out to LA. She saw them in the Hollywood Bowl towards the end.
Still to this day, so very envious.
I saw Floyd at the Dome, but never got to see three of my faves: Hendrix, Marley, Doors.
The release date is what counts. Regardless, I'm all about bending the rules to get my stuff in.Only problem is a bunch were recorded in the magical year of 1969.
Still, we can dig up live 70s no problem. I will be back, have to tally the hottie competition's votes.

A friend of my once proclaimed that Hall & Oates was no one's favorite band, despite the fact that they had a string of hits. Gotta love Bababooey on guitar and vocals.
I think they did learn it from Van, and believe they actually performed it together on occasion. I also remember reading that Jim Morrison "learned" how to sing with his back to the audience from watching Van. Not sure if that's actually true, but it makes for a good story.I think Van was singing with Them, back then. When I listen to the Doors sing Gloria, I can only imagine that they learned that song from Van.
