I agree with the latter. We all know contracts are broken, changed, or altered in any field. It just happens, obviously. It doesn't matter anyways. The whole succession plan was botched up royally.

What contracts are changed or altered? You mean re-negotiated? Hopkins renegotiated his, for sure. Succession plan didn’t work because Boeheim didn’t want to leave.

Other than what we already know, I believe exactly nothing that Michael Beasley has to say. Starting with whatever nonsense he's talking about Manhattan growing by 5 times since something something something. Mike Vorkunov, I'd recommend calming down a bit and finding an actual scoop.

According to the census bureau, Manhattan, Kansas' population grew from 45,024 in 2000 to 54,983, or 8%. Just slightly off of the quintupling in size that Michael Beasley estimated.

Well, in his defense - it's K State, not like a real college or anything.
And he only attended for one year, so clearly he missed the math part of his curriculum there. ;)

Just like any contract? What makes you think it could be changed or altered? We all knew Mike would have left if USC offered him the job. Not surprising he left, given Coach B has no intention of retiring anytime soon.
Contracts can be changed by agreement

All, any contracts!! Of course some agreement. But the idea of any contract being set in stone is malarkey. And, yes Boeheim didn't want to leave so result: succession plan botched obviously.

Can we get any of their current players to Transfer in?

I'd take big man Malik Williams, a top 30 recruit. Would be a great add.

Gary Parish and Jeff Goodman are witless morons. How haven't they been downsized out of their jobs yet?

Goodman has connects all the way from AAU to the NBA so that is why he's at ESPN. Parrish you make a good point.

So no contracts are set in stone? Is Tom Izzo's? Universities don't get to go around changing contracts, right?
