Depends on who is out, We lost 3 key starters, OL is intact, top WRs intact. Tucker is better at RB than guys who opted out. DL and LBs — mostly intact, 2 deep. Can’t count injured second string OL who wouldn’t play anyway.
‘Comes back to Devito, Cisco and Thrill Williams — big losses for sure. But “over 2o” is misleading in terms of game impact.

The team should be 3-8 because of injuries. But we are 1-10 because of injuries, bad coaching, unforced errors and other ailments

The defense was above average even given their youth. They made way more plays than you could expect out of them.

Specials were inflated bc we had a terrific Punter and PK. Coverage units were pretty strong too.

We played all ACC opponents. If we had a typical schedule with cupcakes we probably get to 4-5 wins. Still not great but a 1 win season in 2020 is not apples to apples.

I’m not thrilled with where we‘re at but I’d like to see what happens in a normal year with the next QB before I panic.

Our schedule this year had Liberty, GA Tech, Louisville, NC State, BC, Clemson, Pitt, Wake who were all supposed to be on our schedule. We went 1-7 against those tams. It was supposed to also have games on the road at Rutgers and at WMU. Those are at best 50-50 games. We may have won both but we may have lost both. We had home games against Colgate and FSU. I think we win both so we are looking at 3 to 5 wins this year. it would have been the worst season all things considered of Dino's tenure.

we were literally down to about 55 scholarship players available today. I think less than 60 the last few weeks. They could barely even practice. Fact.

Why would you take out the 10-3 season? He was HC for that season, too.
