Really looking forward to this. My seats are in the corner at this end. It will be a great place to go at halftime, instead of standing in the congested concourse.5 Things to Know: Syracuse vs. UConn - Syracuse University Athletics
The Syracuse football team hosts UConn on Saturday, in a battle of two teams with 7-3 records on the season. Here's five things to know before you head to th...cuse.com
Fans are encouraged to check out the new Miron Victory Court in the upper concourse of the East endzone on Saturday, as it'll be open for the first time on a game day.
Miron Victory Court is a brand new enclosed pedestrian concourse that expands and redefines the JMA Wireless Dome footprint. The 27,000 square foot enclosed space features beverage and cocktail stands, a 9-foot by 32-foot video board and 18 televisions for fans to enjoy. The space connects to the upper concourse of the East end-zone. Once in the building, fans can freely enter and exit Miron Victory Court throughout the game by utilizing the interior entry points in the end zone concourse.
Same. Looks great. We’re in 114, a h/s/j away. Definitely checking it out Saturday.Really looking forward to this. My seats are in the corner at this end. It will be a great place to go at halftime, instead of standing in the congested concourse.
Believe it’s nearing completion. Will be done by early spring from what I heard (if remembering correctly). How close is the football complex from being ready to go? I thought I read completion is supposed to be December 2024.
It’s a soft launch and I think they’re fine without promoting it a ton or encouraging folks to go as it’s early and they haven’t ironed out many kinks. I think if it was completed earlier they probably would have. This is one where I don’t mind that they haven’t fully pushed it.I will go check it out for sure. But I still think this is an awful job of a roll out. It really shouldn't be hard to have photos or a video tour. Look at the comments on X or FB. People are asking what it is. Saying you spelled Micron wrong. Etc. A lot easier to clear the air by actually showing it. Instead of saying there is a big screen, a bunch of TVs, and so on, actually show it.
Also the disruption of what it entails could be so much better. Be more clear on how you can access it. The types of food and beverages available. What is on the TVs? Other games? Or the SU game?
Honestly I Would have expected an SU email being how much I spend on season tickets.I will go check it out for sure. But I still think this is an awful job of a roll out. Why would the school want people in the concourse and not in the bowl watching the game?So they can show stuff on these screens but we can't use the ones in the dome to show stuff in all the dead periods,
TVs are cheap. There should be TVs in the concourse with the SU game and then some with other games as well. Make it an experience.
They consider it a lounge. Why would the school want people in the concourse and not in the bowl watching the game?
Definitely needs to be a lot more cheap 42 to 55 inch tvs in the concourseSo they can show stuff on these screens but we can't use the ones in the dome to show stuff in all the dead periods,

We have 7 big screens inside the bowl.. we dont use any in a good way during games or timeouts or breaks. Why would the school want people in the concourse and not in the bowl watching the game?

They should absolutely have OUR game on the concourse TVs for when you're at concessions, but not other games being played.Every stadium/arena in the country has TV screens in the concourses showing game action. Syracuse used to before the digital menu screens. Now 98% of screens in the concourse are devoted to menus. I’m not sure how many people are willingly standing in the concourse to watch game action, but it’s a great option to have when I’m standing in a concession line or making a trip to the men’s room.

Interestingly enough, the new Intuit Dome in LA does not. On purpose. Ballmer wants people in their seats as much as possible.Every stadium/arena in the country has TV screens in the concourses showing game action.

Oh for sure. The game should be played on TVs in the concourse, absolutely.I get that, but it's not always feasible, especially if you have kids that need snacks or to use the bathroom or you're a 40-year-old adult with a weak bladder after 7 Blue Lights.

Honestly I never understood why the Dome allowed random loitering in the concourses though. You're either in line for concessions, the restrooms, or you're walking.
