Future Campus Framework Discussion

Man does that bring back some memories. Friday happy hour from 3 - 5 and I believe the drinks were 2 for a dollar or something else ridiculously low. The downside was being trashed at 5:00 to start the weekend. That place was like being in dungeon.
Most Faegans memories are hazy, but IIRC .50 cent G/T's on Monday nights were pretty tasty back in the 80's.

I know that Jabberwocky has been gone for 40-ish years but it still saddens me that Kimmel dining hall was torn down. I saw so many great artists in Jabberwocky.

Right now, I am looking at a clipping from the DO that I found among some stuff in the basement recently. November 1969, Paul Stookey walked in and played a few songs with a folk group that had been playing that night. Nice shot of the back of my head in the third row.

Not only were there so many great shows, but the number of artists that played there just on the cusp of becoming very famous was unreal.

Take heart Dick, small venues that feature emerging artists still flourish. It's just that most of us here don't know about them. Cuz we're old and we're not supposed to know about them. ;)

I feel robbed. Kimmel didn't have that when I was a student. We had to go down the hill to The Orange and then crawl back up the hill.
