Coley was penciled in as the starter last year until he got hurt preseason. Now he's being beaten out by a better player.

Would like to see a lineup with Tucker, Elmore, Mang, Benson, and Harris. That look could be I'm gong to punish you, or throw it deep.
Also could send Harris and Mang across the Middle and hit either one.

Cooper is a player. Don't take it as a negative on the other 2 as much as a positive to him.

Cooper has good vision and is a 1 cut back. He's very good

Completely agree. I would not put to much stock in any depth chart. We know the obvious but dB will not completely show his hand.

I don't see how any of these changes are more surprising than Lutz as the number 2 RB. Kid has some good runs late last year, but to surpass two RB's that had the majority of carries two years ago is surprising to me.

Maybe Dino’s sending a message? Adams and Howard have to earn their spots all over again? Im clearly grasping at straws but I don’t think Lutz is currently, at this moment, close to the calibre back as Howard is in complement to Tucker

Every time lutz was given an opportunity last year he made the most of it. He is bigger than Howard and the same size as tucker but a little taller. He runs with an attitude and is good catching the ball out of the back field.

Like Labrosse kid is big and fast. Like Sharrod fresh eyes at the wr coach gave him a new start. Love the second teamers WR huge kids hopefully they see some run. Expect Howard to get more than short yardage attempts kid is all brick and speed i fully expect him to play a very significant role. LBs look deep and OLAHA is going to kick some pinnaples in when he gets on the field. Biggest road grader in cuse history to make the 2 deep.

He's got wheels as well as hands. Apparently he's caught the coaches eye at RB, I've been waiting (hoping) the coaches would make him the next Erv.

Just have to hope some of these starters were forced to see the field 2 years before they were ready; and now, as upperclassmen, will play as ACC level players.
Still not happy we couldn't bring in a single 280lb+ player to push for a 2-Deep spot @ nose tackle. In the Year of the Portal no less...

I think avg to slightly above avg was the takeaway… tough comparisons though, our last 3/4 punters have had cups of coffee in the NFL.

Yup. And it's one practice. And he's a frosh. Things can change.
