George McDonald is absolutely terrible

I believe I did. I stated that I'm skeptical of McDonald and suggested he needs help. FYI, This is the point where you question my fandom, offer to buy my season tickets, and generally get defensive. (This is like putting a dollar bill on a fishing poll).
569 yds of offense vs 369?!? And they had an 84 yd play?! Ok. I lose.

I am offended by you questioning my wherewithal but I will buy you tix, won't question your fandom and only care about your responses for being outright derogatory against the SU coaching staff.

I know you have many followers on the board and I've been one for a few years. Discredit me for all you're worth or stand tall, but I won't stand and let people who don't know what they are talking about ruin the fact that SU has a great HC and Oac.

he needs help out gaining the other team by 200 yards? Or he needs help stopping their offense from scoring from anywhere inside the 50 yd line?!

George is not very good in big spots.

He just isn't.

This is now 10 of the last 12 games where they haven't scored more that 24 points in regulation.

It's Grobian.

easy to paste a guy on a bad day. But!?!! George didn't lose this game.

an OC that doesnt make bad calls does not exist. but also had AB drop a td, pass had Hunt td run called back, ran a wheel route that was an easy TD get caught OB and get called back and who knows happens if we dont get 2-3 penalty on the one red zone drive, lost another drive inside the 40 on a QB offensive facemask, had another first down at the 10 get dropped. pick any 2 of those and we score 30.. and that doesnt count the INT or the missed fg..

He hits 300 yds all the time I bet. Pretty soon he's going to be threatening to hit me in the face with a shovel.
well that would probably be in improvement hey-oh!!

We run more bubble screens than anyone in the country. Must be 6 a game. They only work when you have the downfield ability to keep the defense honest so they are soft underneath. Opposing defenses know from scouting that SU will run it multiple times so they're looking for it. It also doesn't help that we have a QB who has such poor accuracy. The majority of his throws are high and wide. I almost think it's luck when he hits a pass over 10 yards. Very depressing showing today.

you must not watch many college games as everyteam uses that play now we just don't block well enough for it to work that often

Blaming the OC for today's loss is farcical and sounds desperate. The scheme worked. Look at the statistics. He can't make the plays too.

Blocked punt, pick 6, holding call on TD, 90 yard bubble screen for TD, missed FG, dropped passes, blown throws etc.

The cabal roasting McDonald needs to take a rest imo. Starting to look personal and not football related.

I wouldn't quite go that far. I think GRob once had 576 yards in a season.

I agree that big spots are his kryptonite, but we did move the ball at will.

I thought the hold on the Hunt TD was a garbage call, we would have been at 20 at half. But way too many breakdowns.

Yep. You said it.

hope you have! I'm willing to spend more $$! To put my mouth where my heart is! I should feel bad about that I guess, but I played football in college, D3, but I beat 90% of you all... Can me if you need, but I offered because I can. Sit scared of you must. But I did something never offered on this board and only rumored possible by cto. You are at fault by not realizing that I'm not afraid to stand up for what I know. I'm 32. You're with me or against me. Put up or shut up.
Did u play pro baseball too?

Jeep Wrangler. That said, I'm waiting for a Mercedes or Porsche that catches my eye.
Uh...little B? Try the BIG B playa... Porsches are for posers (proven fact)

250 yards off the tee and hard slice right. Dickie Harmon tells me I need to plant my knee but he's either drunk or I just have no self control. Go figure.
Isn't dick harmon dead?

Just please don't tweet him.

Unless you really want him fired, then maybe it's a good strategy.

Yes lots of teams run it...but not like 6 times a game.

He called a horrible game. Took the team out of its flow multiple times. George simply doesnt have a feel for the game. Just when a back gets hot and the Oline is feeling dominant he reverts to a play that is so out of left field that it is beyond most. If you have ever played football you would know what i mean. Good O;s get into a flow good running backs are the same way. Recievers set up DB's and learn their tendencies. QB's and WR develop a feel for each other... His play calling kills all of this. He reminds me of a business school graduate who has no real world business experiance. Say what you want but he just doesnt have it and i doubt that he ever will. Play calling is all about feel and playing to your teams strenght and playing the hot hand. In my opinion he is the number one problem with our team

I agree. We are a team that needs positive plays on first down. It seemed there were three to four poss in the first half where we lost 5 out of the gate and were resigned to punting.

Grobwins Law is like Godwins Law

Scoreboard.

People kept saying that the only thing that mattered during our undefeated stretch last basketball season was that we were winning, essentially ignoring the obvious signs that things weren't as great as they seemed.

But now, we ignore the final score of the game and grab at the stat sheet.

Just a funny observation.

We killed ourselves today. Fact. I didn't mind the play calling minus a few. However, the few were drive killers.

We need to score touchdowns. What is our offensive identity?

I'm not as down as others, because I've seen us have these games a fair amount over the last few yearS. Maybe I'm numb to it?

You could tweet at him "You're great coach, I will always support you!" and the guy would still get defensive and blow up. His Twitter demeanor does not inspire confidence in him. At all.
