But he decided to pull Donnie & sit him for 12 mins after Sorber blocked his shot on a drive to the hoop. He wasn’t going to sub him out but immediately & demonstratively called for a sub after that play. Red’s explanations for his decisions rarely make sense.

JJ comes back early January, Bell comes back to life, Moore and Freeman continue to mature, and we get back on track to be whatever it was we thought we were going to be.

I agree with almost everything being said that’s critical of coaches and players. The fanbase rightfully so is not going to forget the stink of this game with Autry and Bell.

I think the issue is less one of motivation/playing hard and more of not knowing how to do what they’re supposed to do. Some of it is thinking they’re supposed to do things that are actually ineffective and/or damaging. There isn’t really a lack of ‘fight’ in them. They’re just ill-prepared for the battles.

You are absolutely correct and all that can be traced back to an incompetent coach way over his head that has no idea what he is doing once the game starts. Deer and headlight syndrome. He don't got it

Obviously we didn’t lose because of one play, but the play that continues to stick out in my mind is that garbage one handed pass from Carlos when we were up 6 and had all the momentum. He played an otherwise solid game but that seemed to be the turning point where everything went to hell.
