Good but to be honest maybe not right now but the players would have done the same for Babers. Oh and Shafer.
switch It up.

Agree on Moorhead. Lewis we at least know was responsible for some of Dino’s early success. The problem is i believe he has his eyes set on something bigger after another year or 2 at Colorado. He was an amazing OC. He always had a play when we needed one. To see how Dino’s early teams offense have dropped since Lewis left you know he had a huge impact.I think a lot of people see that Lewis is a good coach. I never liked Moorhead even when he was at PSU. Lewis at least brought in talent and improved the Kent St program. I don’t see that at Akron. I think Lewis is in an even better position since Deion picked him up. Don’t underestimate his impact.
Bronco Mendenhall is interesting. In alphabetical order:
Lewis
Bronco Mendenhall (he'd keep Beck)
Mullen
Patricia
White

I can see Lewis landing at Michigan StateAgree on Moorhead. Lewis we at least know was responsible for some of Dino’s early success. He was perceived as the program savior just a couple years ago. He was Sean Lewis two years ago. Like I said, Lewis is a good coach and really liked him at Syracuse. think Lewis is trying to get a big 10 type job from Colorado after another year there, imo. I don’t think he’s coming here as he’s been here and realizes how difficult it is to recruit. Now if he Was interested that would tell me he has a plan where he thinks he can be successful at Syracuse, that’s intriguing but don’t get your hopes up the Syracuse job is well known as a very difficult taskJoe Moörehead? Not exactly killing it at Akron but….NE guy, p5 success, could come here?
Tony would be the only assistant without head coaching experience that i would consider. JW loves the guy.I’d be a little underwhelmed with Tony White.
I mean if white thinks there’s a path towards success here you should at least hear him out. He has history here which I think is important and Sean Lewis too but I don’t think he would be interested at all, just my gut I think he’s holding out for a bigger job on the jump from Colorado.Tony would be the only assistant without head coaching experience that i would consider. you do wonder if coaching at Colorado can be just too much of a circus at times with all the media.etc
these are the types though I like. I’d rather take the risk get here on a reasonable deal. If it works then you try and pay bigger $, maybe he stays maybe not but that’s a good problem. If it fails well you move on but you’re over paying up front and let’s face it nobody knows if the coach will be successful but it’s not an easy job. Going to take a special coach to really be successful over the long haul But dude should be younger and be ready to work essentially non stop. Im dubious of head coach retreads on this frontI think White could work, but he would need a good plan to fix the O.
Stumbled across a risky name: JaMarcus Shephard. He is AHC/PGC/WR at Washington this year which is a great O system. From 2017-21 he was co-OC/WR. Another good O system and he knows what it is like to recruit to a smaller program. In 2016 he was at WSU with Leach, another great O system. From 2011-15 he was at WKU and was under Taggart, Petrino, and Brohm. So his entire career he has been exposed to very good Os. Also he is from Indiana, which is at least closer to CNY than Cali, Texas, or the South. On paper he seems good but I have no clue if he is just another McDonald.
Yeah tough to argue against that but also needs to be able to work the portal with connections as well. It’s equally as important these dayshas to have connections in our recruiting areas

I like Tony White! Players seem to love him, and his defense was really good...my only concern with White is...Can he recruit? Who did he bring in while he was here? I have said this , it seems like a million times on this thread...It doesn't matter who the coach is, if certain things, like funding and NIL money doesn't improve.I think Wildhack goes for Sean Lewis or Tony White.

now on the flip said UW has a 6th year Qb who will be most likely a 1st rounder and 2-3 NFL wide receivers. UW got lucky as i think their last coach left in somewhat of a scandal and they replaced him with a better coach
The characteristics that you just described, that person will be hard to find...and will be very costly. A proven program builder at the P5 level with sustained success...is most likely still coaching someone else's team...but I agree with your assessment. It has to be someone who has had success program building at the P5 level.
My line of work is turning around companies. It’s what I do. And I can’t tell you how valuable it is to recruit people for the team that have similar experience. It isn’t just the experience per se, it’s the mental toughness you need to be able to walk into a situation that’s broken, see the potential, and ride the crazy storm of a turnaround plan.
That’s the type of person we need. Someone who has done it before and has been successful with it, and has had some sustained success at a P5. Someone who prioritizes building a disciplined program with strong line play. A building blocks guy that can surround himself with strong position coaches that are solid recruiters.
whoever the Coach is needs to keep our current Tight End Coach with the strong New Jersey Connections!!! That guy will be key moving forward. Look at this year's recruits, Strong Jersey impact!!!Ideally 110%. Problem is there aren't any good choices who have that.
Can this be a horse’s name or are there rules that prevent it?I’ll let cuse69bonghit know!!
yeah would never fly. There are rules. But would be funnyCan this be a horse’s name or are there rules that prevent it?
Cig doesIdeally 110%. Problem is there aren't any good choices who have that.

This. If he isn’t the first guy JW calls I will not be happy and I don’t give a crap that he is older, the dude has like a 110-20 career record, or something like that. The JMU guy is a hard arse that in my opinion would turn us around next year
