Guys it’s only year 4, Dino just

I think Dino is right there with the rest of the HCs. I don’t think we have a great OL coach. Everyone else is quality, IMO.

Lynch is not quality. Martin is not quality.

Honestly the only guys who should be safe on this staff are Dino, Lustig and Monroe. All other coaches should be under the microscope.

The penalties and overall lack of discipline should be on the head coach. The clock management during the last 1:30 of the first half is on the coach. I think Dino has a lot of promise but I don't think he's untouchable anymore.

First 10 win season and ranked team in seventeen years. I’m ride-or-die at this point.

Every time they show Dino on the sideline after a false start penalty and he has that dead ass stare look into nowhere I imagine he's thinking about the offers he never got the chance to take when he signed the extension before the bowl win.

Certainly. But we’re going to need a talent upgrade at several positions in order to get back close to that level again. Recruiting Is bound to take a hit coming off this season. So Dino’s job just got more difficult.

What makes you think that wouldn’t happen elsewhere? Excessive penalties are usually a reflection on the coaches.

OL play is rarely a problem at BC. They have a good line almost every year. Clawson has done a great job at Wake. He’s one of the best coaches in the ACC.

I don’t know how he hasn’t landed another job yet. Maybe he just doesn’t want one. Clearly looking for a full crowd when he’s standing in the tunnel ready to run out on the field isn’t something on his agenda.

Well for one he'd get another 3-4 years of the excuse, "I need players for my system"

Here are some things Dino brings to the table:

Charisma
Experience
Character
Intelligence
Innovation
Work ethic
Competitiveness
Historically positive results

Biggest negative:
Recent results

I’ve questioned some of his decisions. My biggest concern has been a lack of any sort of incremental improvement throughout the year. We seem stubborn in our approach. But this was a big ship to get steering in the right direction and I think Dino is still our best bet by far.

I think Dino's a very good coach but what worries me is if he is making the adjustments he needs to make to stay ahead of the competition. Are they growing as a coach and staff and improving? Last year seemed like a resounding yes but this year there just seems to be a deer in headlight look from the coaches and players.

The beginning of games they just seem so out of it and then seem to wake up but it's just too late.

Changes have to be made and what they are should be interesting and we'll see or at least get a picture of will there be any growth/learning done or are we going to sink or swim doing the same thing?

Is there discipline or teaching, I believe obviously so but to what degree? They can keep it in house (discipline) and I'm good with that but the product that we are watching looks like they never practice and often look weaker and slower than the opposition.

I believe Dino and staff, most of it, will do many good things on the hill and I am also good with him being here for 3 more years minimum to get things in order unless this team starts going 4-8 from 2020 or worse in the next 2 years then it is time to part ways. I'll throw this year out as a lesson learned because it better be...has to be.

And I think this is honestly the opinion everyone should have.

Is Dino’s seat lava and should be fired right this second? No

should his seat be luke warm and people start questioning him? Yes.

The fact Cordy still gets playing time is disappointing and a negative reflection on Dino.
I would add Taj Harris to this list. His repeated pattern of behavior should be unacceptable to a head football coach and he should be sitting on the bench. It also speaks to a lack of leadership by the senior class that they are don't effectively deliver a message to Taj.

The lack of any type of improvement in any facet of our gameplay is what is frustrating to people, and Dino making movie analogies is getting tiresome as he dances around the not so tough questions from the media

people who get upset over coaches giving non-answers to the media will never not be funny to me. Same with people who get worked up over a coach’s body language and sideline demeanor.

DeVito would be justified in punching Taj in the mouth for showing him up on the field like that.

What happened? I listened to the radio yesterday

It’s shafer. Why’s this so hard?
Because I'm not German. Plus, I have a mind block on him like Gregggg Robbinsone. You know, trying to forget them??? The word why's also looks weird to me ...just sayin'...

he got a little pissy because TD was skyMailing balls to him the two times they threw to him and he was wide open.

it’s just the frustration of the season really mounting up
Im surprised the O seems fairly frustrated and split emotionally. You’d think Moe Neal and Servais would be our strongest leaders with KC and CF on the d

yeah you would think, I think this is one area that you can actually attribute to being a “young” team. Not many guys have seemed from our perspective, to step up and lead this team.

DeVito threw a bad pass on a sideline out route. Taj came up flailing his arms around, yelling and gesturing. Announcers even made note of it.

Sick of him acting like a little _____. Maybe put some of that energy into lifting a weight, spindle arms.
That wouldnt even fly on my fraternity’s intramural team lol

I was surprised their heads didnt grow too big to fit through the doors at Turning Stone for the uni reveal at Lava :(

man if you think that’s bad I watch a kid at a JV game yesterday throw off his pads on the sideline, storm off the field. Scream really loud, punch a light pole and wonder around the parking lot while a coach or two had to go follow him around

That was embarrassing for him...

So I guess Taj is better than that LOL
