Was it your first time seeing Simone Biles?Since it's been on NBC this weekend, yes. Before that, no. The women's Olympic trials come up in a couple weeks, I'll watch that some.
Cool. They are going to pick the women's team in a couple of weeks. I follow the sport fairly closely and to know what kind of pressure these girls are under is unbelievable. It is amazing what they can do.I've seen her once or twice before, she's tremendous.
I enjoy watching gymnastics, especially women's gymnastics, leading up to the Olympics and of course the Games themselves. In non-Olympic years I'll watch a little bit of the major championships sometimes, the US and the World.
Absolutely. Did you see the girl split the beam?Definitely is pressure-packed. You've got to be athletic, precise, under control, and no one else to blame if you fail with an injury always a very real possibility. Gotta respect what the ladies, and guys, do.
I never paid all that much attention to the sport until my daughter got in to it. Since then it has been quite the ride. The higher you go in the sport, the more injuries you see. When my daughter was 9 she missed on doing her aerial on the beam and banged into the beam pretty hard at a competition. It was scary to watch, and I didn't know what to do. Luckily it was just a bruise and scraped up leg.I only watch during the Olympics and my eyes are closed 80% of the time. Terrifying sport especially with how young most of the competitors are.
Oh ok, I will have to figure that out, I don't want it public on Youtube.Unfortunately I can't see it orange, the video's private. You'd have to make it public to be seen.

Thanks, I am proud of her. Vault has been her worst event historically.Yup that's viewable. Your daughter did that very very well, that's plenty difficult as it is.
