So this isn’t physical horse racing but it is a version of it that is really fun. It is called ZedRun and it is a crypto based horse racing game. You can buy racehorses using crypto and can pay cash to race them against other trainers. They have a breeding system as well as genetics and genotypes to make it in-depth lineage wise. I’ll post more about it later but anyone that ever wanted to be a horse owner should think about it. The horses are NFT’s so you own the asset itself. It has the potential to be huge!

The calculations are a lot more complex then that. Every horse has a Z level which determines how pure the genetics are an how much better a horse can be. So a Z1 will typically run faster then a Z10 but it also is based on parentage as well. In addition each horse has preferred distance so if your horse loves 2000M and you run it in a 1000 your horse will have a harder time winning. In the future they are adding gate preferences weather such as rain and other conditions as well as other stuff to affect your horse. The attempt is to make it like IRL horse racing but also allow anyone to participate

Yes. He was definitely the best horse in the race. Sucks to lose those races when it should have been a slam dunk.

I have a tough time believing the Jeff Ruby Steaks at Turfway is a 100 point KY derby qualifier after looking at the field, run on synthetic as well. Just my 2 cents but I guess if I had a poly/ or more grass horse maybe worth a shot

3 more preps this weekend and then the Ark Derby on 4/10. That's 3 weeks from Derby I wonder if Baffert will run Concert Tour there or not? Hoping for an upset in the Derby this year, give me something, smaller owner/ trainer etc something?

Agree on the Ruby.

Bet an exacta Collaborate on top of Greatest Honour and came up empty. Had a feeling that GH wouldn’t win, but Collaborate simply wasn’t ready for prime time. Still think he’s talented - we’ll see down the road
