This little blurb here says they should be good to go from game 1 next year if the new staff decides to keep them.

It reads a player "will be suspended from practice and competition for the number of events equaling a minimum of 50 percent of an academic year's competition regular schedule."

Academic year or one year from the failed second test.?

Academic year runs from August to May (Fall Semester and Spring Semester). During the "academic year", SU has 12 football games scheduled. 50% is 6 games.

I don't care what Indiv state you're talking about, punishing kids for smoking pot (or using a vaporizer if they are smart) in 2015 is ridiculous.

If players are doing cocaine or extacy that's a different story but pot is so commonplace its just silly to suspend kids 6 games for getting high on pot.
