Are we behind Rutgers, Pitt, BC? honest question, I have 0 idea
Pitt shares their facilities with the Steelers, big selling point.

In part you are right, but every other team had the exact same issues, some even worse. There is no getting by the fact Syracuse is a worse team than the majority of their contemporaries. I am not for firing any one right now, but the clock should be ticking loudly. This season is a mulligan. Flame me all you want but I’m not getting worked up about a season where there was limited time to get going. Watching these scrimmages make time go by for me but don’t get me worked up. I would assume Dino would leave before we fire him knowing how this will go. He’s a good coach and needs to get a year to figure out QB
I will say that Hafley at BC proves you can turn it around in one season w a transfer qb and stout line play. It’s never gonna be a multi year rebuild whether Dino does it or someone else.
Obviously behind Pitt and probably the others. Are we behind Rutgers, Pitt, BC? honest question, I have 0 idea
Lets just admit his sideline demeanor is somewhat unemotional, not necessarily bad but certainly not firey.did the Cajun blame himself or the players?
HCDB doesn’t publicly throw his players under the bus which I admire and think is highly respectable. You handle stuff in-house with your family...but he called out his WRs yesterday for the drops, it was uncharacteristic of him but maybe needed to be said.
You’re very wrong that Dino doesn’t have the same fire.
We are talking football here, if Syracuse wants to give out academic scholarships to the underpriviledged great, but a football scholarship that never sees the field is a wasted football scholarship for the purpose it was granted. Any other interpretation is putting lipstick on a pig.One more time, it isn't for lack of desire by Qadir or the coaching staff that he isn't playing. Some things in life are beyond the control of man. If you want to put blame somewhere blame nature, fate or even the hand of God. And even if he never plays a down of football a scholarship that gives a young man the opportunity of an education, he might not otherwise receive, is never, ever a wasted scholarship.
This team does not have the QB we had three to four years ago. This offense does not use tempo the way we did three or four years ago
His halftime comment to the reporter that the d was playing decent just looks really bad.Lets just admit his sideline demeanor is somewhat unemotional, not necessarily bad but certainly not firey.

Not buying that we're behind th shi stadium crew... or BC. Does anyone know that we are?Obviously behind Pitt and probably the others.
Call it what you will but he is not firey he is just not totally dead. I said not necessarily a bad thing that he is "professional".we must watch different games then because I’ve seen him plenty fiery on the sideline including this year several times. For the most part though his sideline demeanor is always pretty professional, you call it unemotional, I call it professional.

I do not know why you are getting so excited about this. Dino is low on the emotional scale. My comments never suggested it mattered, at least not much.Does sideline demeanor really matter? Desko looks like he’s at a funeral most games. JB exudes a lot of emotion but the guy who coaches UVA looks and acts pretty calm. I don’t recall Doug Marrone acting fiery either. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter but I’ll take Dino’s sideline demeanor than the clown show that was Scott Shafer.
Actually my dream was close your eyes visualize this your in the carrier dome the house is filled the feeling is electric the noise is deafening you have a defense that is relentless you have a special teams that has been well coached you have an offense that will not huddle and you have a game that is faster than you have ever seen on turf open your eyes that's going to be a reality that's going to be Syracuse football. Thank you.Is that your dream? I dream of a transfer portal for posters.

We still have dead weight on the staff. Everyone needs to be able to recruit and get results. We need to open the purse a bit more then.Thing is ADJW’s opened up the wallet a bit and Dino’s not showed him much return
1. Evaluate the roster and find homes for players who will never contribute.
2. Re-examine everything about recruiting - who they target and who takes the primary roles in bringing prospective recruits home.
3. Look very hard at JUCO & transfers for immediate help.
4. Re-evaluate strength & conditioning as far too many players end up hurt.
5. Related to #4, learn how other programs are running practices so we don't end up with half the OL gone before the season starts.
6. Make some hard decisions about which assistants are truly able to help turn this around, regardless of whether they have been there forever or were just hired.
Also tell your players to use the railing when walking down stairs to prevent injuries.1. Evaluate the roster and find homes for players who will never contribute.

It all comes down to QB. Get a QB and you will win. If not, you will lose. Gilbert doesn't inspire much confidence either.
The qb doesn’t block or catch passes. This is the direct result of recruiting misses and I think an issue with s&cSorry, but if we should have learned anything over the last 10-15 years, it's that a team's success doesn't come down to just one guy. Even Dungey had lots of help.
You trashed Dino multiple times during the 10-3 season. You’ve been waiting to get him. Frankly I couldn’t care less what’s on your little list.
Oh gosh, my psyche has been decimated! How will I ever go forward?
I think that's about right. This year is gone because of COVID.
Next year he gets another shot. If we suck again, then it's time for a new search.
I hate to say it, because I really like the guy, and he has shown "flashes" (LOL).
But it's taking its toll. I believe that chemistry is bad on this team.
And why are so damn many people getting
hurt?
Probably best to just relax about this season...Dino ain't going anywhere and I'm personally happy about that.
Given all the distractions, this wasn't going to be a year of growth for any program, you either still had the pieces to the puzzle or you didn't (see LSU's defensive collapse YoY). Yes, always exceptions like the Mississippi schools but they're different fish.
Would like to any sense of imagination in terms of how to move the ball with THIS set of guys, not pretending like we still have the QB who is a magician on the Read Option, the WR who out-fights CBs 30 yds down the sideline, or the RB who picks up 6 yards straight ahead. Do think the offensive imagination is worth some critique.
