Thanks for the nice words.Always respect your posts, and yes, the injuries need to be addressed. The Yankees fired their training staff after a bunch of injuries. I get it baseball/football but the athletes of today train in alot of the same ways and being a physiologist, I get it. Training regimens don't enhance flexibility and game dynamics needed by these athletes. I have been on SE, think we could do better with fb strength and flexibility, but think there is still too much meathead approach with our players.
What I dont agree with is the covid excuse, bc there are so many other teams rolling and taking care of biz wins wise and health wise.
I give them a mulligan on COVID for 2 reasons - (1) spring ball was interrupted and they have 2 new coordinators, so they couldn't install either the offense or the defense, that's terrible; and (2) the team didn't think there was enough testing to keep them safe at the beginning, and went on strike at least twice that we heard about through the media.
They raised the issue with the conference, and then a handful of guys opt out and there are no announcements, until they're just not there. That's really rough to go through and still function as a team.
