Lol settle down man.My mind immediately went to George McDonald instead of Deleone for some reason and I thought - wow that's one of your wilder H0T Takes.

I could see Nixon interviewing to get things right on his side and make the jump next off-season.The more the interviews the better for us ?
I’m hoping we get to see it. I can’t fathom losing Kyle and Coach Nixon.I was thrilled to see what he did last year but I’m also super excited to see what he does with a dual threat qb
Agreed. It’s good experience and good buzz to go on NFL interviews but hard to imagine any coach walking away from opportunity to coach their son AND see his daughter play soccer.I would be a little surprised if he left before his son is out of eligibility personally
Add Nick Caley to the list of candidates being interviewed. There are a bunch of other people who have also been mentioned. This search looks to be one that might take a while.
Does anyone know how many coaches buy houses in the area? These guys move around so much, and I couldn't imagine going through that process semi-frequentlySo those thinking that his kids going to SU could stop him from moving on , that's unlikely. If that was the case he would not have interviewed in the first place. If he accepts, he would just move to the new market and I would wager his family would stay here the next year while finishing school, probably putting their house on the market the following spring. Nixon would have plenty of money to buy a condo until the family moved to whichever NFL market he landed in. While it would suck as a fan, wish the man well.

Yes he has but that doesn’t matter - he’s a professional he won’t stop until he signs on the dotted line.Has Nixon been on the road recruiting?
What does this mean? Mine are usually hanging loose.Hang tight my friends!

Yes, you are a rookie ;-)I think the majority do.
Rocky Long is the only noteworthy coach of late that I can recall who did NOT buy a place.
I’d imagine coaches families are like army families -
They get used to and good at moving, and probably have things pared down to make the inevitable easier.
Conversely - we last moved 6+ years ago, and still have a ton of shite in boxes and bins just taking up space.
Rookies.
When we moved 11 years ago I informed my wife that the next time I move it will be into a box of my own.Yes, you are a rookie ;-)
We moved 15 years ago and still have lots of boxes in the garage #silly (not stupid)

My move out of Atlanta wasn't so bad as it was before my wife and I had kids and all of their stuff. Still, not a lot of fun.I have one more move (besides the eternal one). In about ten years, last kid will be out of college and I'll be ready to retire (hopefully). Can't wait to get out of the Atlanta area and move to someplace less crowded. Soooo sick of the traffic and congestion. That will be a happy move for me.
Per Steve Infanti of Cuse Sports Talk, he said he spoke with a colleague from the Houston Texans and Will Nixon is not their priority target.
