JMA Dome: The Next Phase

Just spoke with our new ticket rep; our previous rep was promoted. No new additional information other than what’s been publicly announced. I asked how many seats in a row, if the arm rests have cup holders, if the arm rests move up and down etc to which I was told they don’t know yet and those things are still being finalized.

Sorry guys, I tried.

I appreciate the effort, Seat Daddy.

This may sound like a stupid question, but how about many inches of leg room is typical for arenas? I sit in my wheelchair all the time so I can't say I really pay much attention since it doesn't affect me.

Depends on how much you need. If you need 10, they'll give you 8. If you need 8, they'll give you 6. ;-)

Be careful what you wish for. This could send Tomcat into a measurement frenzy.

After being present for the final game at Archbold, i'm hoping someone will let us know what the official last game with bench seats is.

unrelated: Do you think I can get in with a socket set and grinder?

Would it fit in a clear bag? If so, possibly. Just don’t bring in an already opened bottle of water, big no-no.

Try harder.

I wanted orange but the blue does look good. Probably better than the orange would have looked. They made the right decision.
I felt the same way, but I think the blue looks sharp and orange probably would have been orange overload.

Yeah, it would have been an orange overload, particularly after they turn the field orange, like the Boise Blue.

STH just received a really nice email from the SUAD giving a brief update and expressing how much were valued. It also encourages us to reach out if we have any questions. Very nice gesture, class.

mine asked if i wanted reclining seats and cupholders.

Would it be smarter to do the lower bowl first in 2024… and then collect that feedback for the 300s in 2025? I really think they’re underestimating how much we value legroom.

Dear Loyal ’Cuse Athletics Fund Member,

Last week Syracuse Athletics, in conjunction with our partners at the JMA Wireless Dome and across the University, announced the exciting next phase of the JMA Wireless Dome Transformation Project to enhance the stadium experience for all fans, students, alumni, student-athletes and coaches.

As a season ticket holder and ’Cuse Athletics Fund member, you are an essential part of this transformation. We understand the impact this next phase will have on each of you. The installation of chairbacks throughout the Dome will result in a new manifest and new capacities for all five Syracuse sports that compete inside the Dome.

For many of you, your seats in the Dome have a history of their own—a history of family outings, game days with friends, and memories of witnessing some of the best moments in Syracuse sports tradition.

As our ’Cuse Athletics Fund team continues to work through the final plan for seating maps, capacities, and pricing, we are committed to communicating this information in a timely and transparent way and continuing to provide a variety of seating options for all members of our Syracuse community.

Throughout the reseating process, our ’Cuse Athletics Fund and sales & service teams will be reaching out to all season ticket holders directly to provide the information you need to ensure a smooth transition and find the seats that will best serve your preferred experience.

Our priority is, and always will be, providing a fan experience that is worthy of the best fans in college sports.

If you have any questions, please contact our team at JMADome2024, sign up to become a project insider, or reference the official JMA Wireless Dome Transformation Project webpage at JMADome2024.com.

Thank you for your loyalty and continued support of the Orange.

We wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.

Go Orange!

The seating looks fantastic. I would have expected orange but the blue looks great.
Yes it does I'm trying to get a picture of it to put on my Facebook because I love it I mean the blue seating it doesn't look bad when they're say you don't have a lot of people in the stands I mean it looks absolutely beautiful going with the the blue all that blue going with the orange and everything I love it

Does anyone know if they are selecting random STHs with different heights and waistlines to supplement their design decisions? It would seem to be critical to consider testing some prototypes on actual users.

I wonder how much time they expect to add to the cleanup of the dome with seats vs benches?
