How did they have 2 losses last week - one of which was a total beatdown at home - and still stay in the top 10? If that was any other team not named Kansas, Duke, etc., they’d be looking at the mid teens at least after a week like that.
so biggest loss all time by a #2 shouldnt matter . they have a big upside but reality is they have lost to most every decent team they have played. Both were top 10-15 teams I think. This is kind of hot takey but I don’t think you should necessarily move down in the rankings simply because you lose. Where and to who should factor in at some level.

They are top 25 in both adjusted offense and adjusted defense, which is a key signifier of national championship potential. They beat Iowa State and with one bounce the other way would have beaten K-State on the road. The TCU loss is much more of a head-scratcher but they are quite good too.so biggest loss all time by a #2 shouldnt matter . they have a big upside but reality is they have lost to most every decent team they have played.
