I think this is somewhat exciting. There's a lot of options here.

Babers could promote Lynch to sole OC and just focus on hiring a good young QB coach and bring/introduce a newbie into the system.

He could hire within his tree.

He could coach the QB's himself and hire a coach to do something else.

Remember also, with the new NCAA rule we're adding an additional staff member so we actually have 2 openings.

Akron was garbage years ago when we played them in 2010 and they won the MAC East this year.

Terry Bowden is also their head coach.

Why not? In 2012 they went 8-0 in conference play and 11-2 overall. And it isn't a bad area of Ohio for young coaches raising families.

Would Sterlin walk out on Charlie? You'd have to figure that Charlie will be back in P-5 in another year or two. Would Sterlin want to re-join the cult? Why did Sterlin and Dino split after the 2014 season?

Andrew was on the cult staff before, but not in as high profile a role.

what games am i watching? I feel like this secondary is really bad. like historically bad for the past few years.

am i missing something technique wise? this guy seems way overmatched in that dept coaching wise. If he's some recruiting svengali, which i couched w my comments, i get that he's "placed" there but i see a guy who hasn't a clue how to teach proper tackling/positioning/etc...

I'd rather not give him OL and not give Johnson QB. The two most important positions on the team shouldn't be coached by greenhorns. just my opinion.
