Gotta say, so far this season he has pressed all of the right buttons. Amazing focus by our coach considering the outside distractions.
He has been almost perfect in substitution patterns and finding the five guys who are getting it done at a given point in time (though, of course, that is mostly finding which two of the three guards are playing best in a given game).
Under the radar, he has also done a fantastic job of getting some players, particularly, Dion and Melo turned around. Both are playing with great energy and unselfishness.
I am still one of those who believes that there will be times when the Zone is solved and that we will need to be able to play a few minutes of man just to mix things up. So, that remains my only criticism of Jimmy, I would like to see more of the man in spots.
But, overall...there is no way not to give Jimmy an A+ this season.
