I'm more interested in learning about the fans on this board that saint Doug wanted to be banned or silenced.
Not to correct you but I believe it was worst qb, starting on non starting.Maybe it was the dipsh!ts who said that Nassib was the worst starting QB in SU history.

What an original article by that Rochester hack Roth. Must not want to lose his access to all those anonymous sources. Although this article does help explain how the coach and front office were not aligned in their goals. Apparently Marrone was all about winning, and the front office wanted to develop a qb bust - ostensibly to justify the pick. I don't care what the coach's motivation is for winning games, as long as he wins them. We can debate whether he won enough or not, but only in Buffalo (Syracuse?) does the coach have a different job description other than winning and play a guy who doesn't belong on the field. I wonder what Herm Edwards thinks about this mess.I guess the WNY media doesn't like him either! What a whiner though. "Marrone wasn't trying to win games for the franchise, he was trying to win for Doug Marrone so much so he wouldn't even give Manuel the start in a meaningless season finale at New England."
This has some good stuff too including Polian-related.

No, not at all. I live in Rochester, Roth is a hack. Hacks rehash other previously published articles. There is literally nothing new except Roth's name in the byline. I'm surprised Roth didn't b*tch about the mass text.Negative article = hack
Positive article = solid journalism

Wow, Bob Casullo is destroying Marrone's character. Exactly what i said about 20 posts ago. The guy is a complete disgrace as a human being.
Casullo was like Coco the Monkey from Seinfeld- never saw anything like it before or since. It was discussed some here when it happened so I'm not breaking new news. Many will remember what precipitated it. It was a Uconn game that Rob Long was struggling in big time (didn't know about brain tumor at the time). Casullo went ballistic on him a couple of times on the sidelines in full view for everyone to see. It wasn't your normal butt chewing. It was embarrassing. Marrone didn't like the act and made it clear to him after the game in the locker room. Needless to say, things escalated from there. I'll leave it at that as there is more, but no I never heard about it getting physical. But it got bad. That was the end.

It wasn't THAT bad. But it's known that he told parents not to post here. Personally, I think that's BS. You want to ask them not to talk about injuries or strategy, fine. But he doesn't have the right to tell them not to post on a message board. Is that in the LOI? I know some were put off by it.
At least you're not bitter. Like I said it looks like the Bills organization was definitely not aligned in their interests-not the sign of a healthy organization. The more that comes out the more obvious that becomes. Pigula needs to clean everybody out and start over.Yeah for a coach so concerned about winning he really took care of those 2-12 Raiders ... if he actually got the job done there we wouldn't be discussing whether or not playing EJ was a sound idea ... I know what Herm Edwards would say ... "Play to win the game, especially if the chumps lined up on the other side of the field are 2-12 and you are fighting for a playoff spot. You play to win that game especially!" ... Thanks Herm!

@JasonLaCanfora: Jets still have more candidates to speak to, but I hear Doug Marrone's interview with them did not go well. Dan Quinn well positioned now
Doubt that was the angle.
I guess that all depends on how that message gets delivered. I can't say I'd disagree with a coach who thought it was a bad idea to stay off social media in general, doesn't seem like much good can come from itIt wasn't THAT bad. I will agree a house cleaning is in order ... I said that 200 posts ago ... its been 15 years in the making ... I'm not bitter but I think only an idiot would argue about EJ in this context on a message board defending a coach and his desire to win when he really should have gotten the job done against a piss poor football team the week before. Again I think Marrone is a good coach but has a ton of growing to do. He made some decisions in game that I think were poor and he had his reasons and yes it is easy for me to second guess them however I can still do just that.
If I were bitter I wouldn't be using reason or logic. The only thing I can't truly wrap my mind around is why some people, especially those that are not even Bills fans have such a vested interest in defending a guy who won't even be coaching their own team ... at least not in 2015. Heck he made a smart business move and is looking to cash in ... if my company was going to drop $4 mil in my lap I'd take it too ... score another job and live on two paychecks doing one job. But again those that defend him so fiercely for no reason whatsoever puzzle me ... just in case you weren't aware he isn't coming back to coach SU, its safe to move on.

St. Doug's not coming back to Syracuse? You don't say...Hey listen sometimes you don't get it done. The Oakland game was a complete no-show I'm not going to defend that game. My only point with St. Doug is that he did a good-great job in Syracuse reviving a putrid program and he seemed to have the Bills headed in the right direction. Buffalo hasn't been relevant in week 15 in forever and he deserves credit. All the he-said she-said to me is irrelevant after the fact and speaks to the problems inherent in the Bills organization. Lots of scapegoating and not a lot of problem solving going on. I'll never get why that is so controversial.
