Your argument makes no sense. Tom Brady wants to leave. He has a right to leave he is a FA. In case you aren’t aware there is a thing called the salary cap. The Patriots can’t afforf to pay Tom Brady a lot of money without creating a lot of cap space.
I am not sure you are even aware of this thing called the salary cap.
Tom Brady has a dead cap number of 13.5 million on the Patriots cap right now.
So if they wanted to resign him they would have to factor that 13.5 million and then whatever number could agree to him with.
Belichick wants a clean break. Brady wants a clean break.
This has absolutely nothing to do with Wickersham.
