Totally disagree, I saw no great improvement with CDW, he does look talented but GS knows the offense better and is just as athletic. If Shrader has been hurt the past game or so that could be a reason for his downtrend in productivity. Of course it does depend on the injury. Either way SU has a good back up to go with.

Hey Dasher since the game thread is closed I’ll post my response here.

No he was not offered by Alabama. Me saying ‘the entire SEC’ was a bit hyperbole but he had offers from Florida(signed), Florida State, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Duke, LSU, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Michigan , NC State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Virginia Tech. That was reported. Point still stands he’s the highest rated most heavily offered quarterback Syracuse has ever had.

You should go back to saying he should not play because he has no experience and the coaches know what they have.

Wilson is going to make some mistakes but he has far and away more upside than Schrader. the kid is the future at Syracuse I’d roll the dice with him.

I'm already tired of the GS is banged up excuses. Many QBs are. He didn't have it and shouldn't be playing now. This team is lucky to get more than 8 wins after this display.

What is wrong with some people Schrader killed us and single handedly lost the Clemson game when the D was doing everything it could to pull it out for us. He gives ND 7 on the first play of the game and then blows drives going backwards. Carlos was way better today the staff just put him in after the game was lost and the WRs didn't do much to help him there weren't many misses on his throws.

There is no way to sugarcoat Schraders last 4 quarters of football they were awful. We get average play from him we are undefeated.

Shrader is not more athletic than CDRW. I agree GS knows the offense better. He might be a better (albeit different kind of) runner.

CDRW has the tools to execute the offense better.

If the coaches want to give a healthy GS a short leash or play two QBs, I have no problem with that.
